"Is Elizabeth still not home?" Her dad spoke to Justin, as he had just returned home from work. Justin has been working at Monet's for a few months, and gets home at 6pm on those days. Depending on his shifts. Three days a week working, five days a week studying for finals, and two days a week to relax with his girlfriend and her father. Until then, he's a busy boy Monday to Friday. Her dad, still working as hard as ever, is the first to get home now. As Elizabeth is swamped with responsibilities. "She said she'd be home at 5."

Justin sighed, sliding a coffee over to him. He would usually bring home the coffee for Elizabeth, but on her busy days, it would be cold by the time she got home. "With cheer, and exam prep, and she's helping tutor Zach with Spanish; I'm surprised she has time for anything else." He has opened the fridge, grabbing a beverage, and going upstairs to their room. Over the summer they had completely changed the room. They now had a king bed, two desks; which one also doubled as a vanity. And it was fully equipped with a PlayStation, which is the couple's favourite pastime.

He huffed and took his shoes off, fumbling with the remote to turn the tv on. Every time he had done so, he caught a glimpse of the ring he'd gotten from Elizabeth and reminded himself to keep working. But with six and a half hours of school, as well as a three hour shift at Monet's, he knew she'd let him relax, especially when some of that school time is spent running round the field for football. Speak of the devil.

"Sorry I'm late," she yawned, barely making it through the door. "Practice ran over time, as Sheri wanted to add more jumps, and Zach completely forgot about tutoring." She walked past the kitchen, up the stairs, and into her room. Her feet were completely aching, her clothes sweaty, she wanted to sleep, and shower.

"Seeing as you're up earlier than me, we need to switch the cars around. I blocked you in." She noted, entering the bathroom and undressing, Justin casually following her. As they were at that strange stage of their relationship. "How was your day, J? I haven't seen you much." He embraced her and chuckled softly, placing his chin on her head.

"Tiring. But you sound completely exhausted. I'll move the cars around, you shower and get into bed." Justin instructed, reaching for the shower handle and twisting it. He had collected her favourite towels, her nicest body wash, and handed it to her. "I'll also order everyone some food." She smiled, pressing a small kiss to his cheek as he left.

He did as he said, reversed the cars around, ordered food, and sat in bed waiting for her to finish in the shower. She had emerged from the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her hair and body, searching her drawers for some clothes. "Already here, angel." She looked up to see Justin had chosen some shorts and a shirt for her, folded neatly on the edge of the bed.

"Why are you being so sweet?" She questioned after pulling the chosen outfit on. He giggled and rose to his feet, brushing her wet hair from her face to catch her award-winning smile.

And with a smile, he spoke. "You've worked so hard recently, doing everything for anyone, you deserve to relax." She jumped into bed, a grin on her face as she grabbed the remote for the tv. "I think the food is here, I will be back." As he left, she scoured Netflix, waiting for a movie or series to catch her eye.

"I have the pizza, your dad has his pizza and is watching a movie on the couch." Justin climbed into bed beside her and opened the pizza box, almost dribbling at the smell of it. "I'm so hungry. Do you know how many toasted sandwiches I've had to give out today?"

"I can't imagine, J. You know Sheri wants to completely redo the routine, after we spent weeks on it. And Zach was halfway home before he realised he had tutoring." She sighed. Justin, before picking up a slice, had smoothed her hair down and smiled at her.

"Pobrecita." He whispered, kissing her cheek. After spending over a year with her and her father, he'd picked up on quite a few Spanish phrases. "Let's watch."
