Percy's POV:

The rest of the day was fairly uneventful. During math, Hazel sat next to me. I slightly glanced at her, before looking back down at my paper. I tried to convince myself that Leo probably didn't tell anyone about earlier. Though, I had trouble believing myself.

"I hear you have first block with Leo." Hazel said. I didn't respond. "I hope he didn't freak you out to much."

I gave a small shrug. I kept working. I heard her give a small sigh. I felt kind of bad for ignoring her. She was being too nice, and I couldn't help but feel like it was a trap. I could tell she wanted to say something, but she stopped herself.

"I don't me to be to pushy, and I get that you don't know me hardly at all, but if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here." Hazel gently placed her hand on my forearm. It took everything in me not to quickly pull away.

"Thanks," I said softly, not really knowing what to say. Seemingly satisfied, Hazel pulled her hand back. I felt myself relax.

The rest of the class went by as normal. Mrs. Dodds of course was acting like a witch. The bell rang and everyone left. While walking to my next class, I pulled up my text screen. I hit send on the pre-typed message and put my phone away. Not to long after, I got a response.

I was worried to look at the message. Amphitrite was the one who responded.

Of course you can go. She said. I typed out a quick thanks.

~Time Skip~

I walked out of the front of the building and suddenly had an elf all in my face.

"Personal space," I told Leo.

"Have you decided yet?" He asked. A hand pulled him back.

"Leo, heel." Annabeth scolded. He pouted but still waited for an answer. I noticed there were only three people. Leo, Annabeth and Jason.

"I can stay for a bit," I said, feeling very awkward. Leo fist pumped. Jason shook his head at his friend.

"Onward!" Leo said, walking forward.

"Do you even know where I parked?" Jason asked.

"Of course. In the parking lot. Somewhere." Jason laughed. With a little bit of help, Leo "led" the small group to an old looking sedan. Jason unlocked the car and Leo climbed into the front seat. Annabeth sat behind the driver seat. I climbed into the back, feeling out of place.

"What kind of music?" Jason asked the car. Leo was quick with suggestions. Jason looked in the backseat for some options. Annabeth listed a couple of bands as well.

"How about you?" Jason asked me. I wasn't expecting to be asked directly.

"I'm good with anything," I said. Jason nodded. Throughout the car ride, I tapped my thigh nervously. Annabeth kept glancing in my direction, not helping with my nerves.

We made it to a large house that already two cars in the driveway. Leo quickly hopped out of the car and ran up to the front door. I left the car in a more orderly fashion. Walking up the driveway, I wanted to turn around and leave, suddenly feeling like this was a very bad idea.

Jason walked ahead of me, trying to calm Leo down. Annabeth walked next to me.

"You seem nervous," she pointed out. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah, I don't get out much," I said, embarrassed.

"Why not?" Annabeth asked, opening the front door and walking in. I followed in behind her. I gave a small shrug, not having an answer that wouldn't seem to strange. Walking into what I assumed to be the living room, I noticed people lounging around.

Piper, Hazel and Thalia were sitting on the couch. Leo had taken a seat in a chair. Jason decided to sit on the armrest of the couch and talk to Piper. Frank, Will or Nico didn't seem to be here.

"Everyone is here," Thalia said. Everyone stopped whatever conversations were happening. Annabeth sat on the floor in front of the couch, leaving a chair empty for me to sit in. I sat down, feeling tense.

"I'm going to order pizza. Somebody pick out something to watch." Thalia grabbed her phone and left the room.

"Since your dad is out of town, we can have a Marvel movie marathon." Piper said. The group agreed. Jason got the TV set up and everyone settled into their seats. Thalia re-entered the living room, choosing to sit next to Annabeth on the floor instead of kicking her little brother out of his seat.

Once the movie started, I could feel myself relaxing. About halfway through, there was loud knocking on the door, causing me to jump slightly. Thalia stood up to answer the door. I noticed Leo giving me a confused look from across the room. I kept looking at the TV, trying to play it off.

Thalia came back a couple seconds later placing three pizza boxes on the coffee table. She went into the kitchen and placed paper plates next to the pizza. Because she was closest, Annabeth passed out pizza to everyone.

"Thanks," I said, when she handed me a plate. She nodded in acknowledgement. Everyone went back to watching the movies. Sometime during the third movie, I fell asleep.

---

I woke up disoriented. I looked around the living room, noticing the other sleeping teens around me. I jolted up quickly and grabbed my phone. I silently cursed when I saw that it was dead. Jason walked into the living room from somewhere in the back.

"Good morning," he said, groggily.

"What time is it?" I asked, trying not to wake any one else up.

"Around nine-ish."

"Do you have a phone charger I can barrow?" I asked. Jason nodded and walked down the hall, coming back with a charge. I said a quick thanks while plugging in my phone.

"Do you want anything to eat?" he asked, heading into the kitchen. I heard people stirring. Annabeth sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"Breakfast?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm gonna make some french toast."

"I'm gonna wake everyone up," Annabeth muttered, probably to herself. She went around the living room, gently shaking everyone awake.

Y'all, this chapter is suck a mess. In my defense, I spent the last few days packing so I haven't gotten much sleep lately. I am hoping to move within the next couple months.

Thank you all for reading.
