My mind is filled with the dead. I see the smiling faces of my students, eager to learn. I hear Girisha's laugh, deep and merry. I see the outstretched hand of John's trusted lieutenant as she fell into the darkness below.
[Middle Pane]
John tells me not to blame myself, that what happened was unpredictable. Yet how can I not feel guilty when I led so many to worship the instruments of our destruction, all the while promising to keep them safe?
[Right Pane]
Somehow, I must bury these emotions and focus on the present, as John does. If I cannot tear my mind away from what I have lost, I will lose all I have left. I cannot let that happen. I cannot let the gods take him too.

Mi mente está llena de muertos. Veo los rostros sonrientes de mis alumnos, ansiosos por aprender. Escucho la risa de Girisha, profunda y alegre. Veo la mano extendida de la teniente de confianza de John mientras cae en la oscuridad de abajo.

John me dice que no me culpe, que lo que pasó fue impredecible. Sin embargo, ¿cómo no puedo sentirme culpable cuando llevé a tantos a adorar los instrumentos de nuestra destrucción, mientras prometía mantenerlos a salvo?

De alguna manera, debo enterrar estas emociones y concentrarme en el presente, como lo hace John. Si no puedo apartar mi mente de lo que he perdido, perderé todo lo que me queda. No puedo permitir que eso suceda. No puedo dejar que los dioses se lo lleven también.
