Most of my work work at the monastery's doctor has been trivial. Every now and then one of the guards gets injured by the local wildlife, but I usually find myself treating heat stroke and common illnesses. As such, I have had plenty of time to learn all the priests know about the obelisks.
All told, they are stunningly ill informed about the literal pillars of their faith. They are unaware that the obelisks are actually devices that can be activated, and needless to say they have never activated one themselves.
They showed a flicker of understanding when I described the artifacts I found on the island, however. I shall have to keep digging.

La mayor parte de mi trabajo como el médico del monasterio ha sido trivial. De vez en cuando, uno de los guardias resulta herido por la vida silvestre local, pero generalmente me encuentro tratando uno que otro golpe de calor y enfermedades comunes. Como tal, he tenido mucho tiempo para aprender todo lo que los sacerdotes saben sobre los obeliscos.
En total, están sorprendentemente mal informados sobre los pilares literales de su fe. No saben que los obeliscos son en realidad dispositivos que se pueden activar, y no hace falta decir que nunca los han activado.
Sin embargo, mostraron un destello de comprensión cuando les describí los artefactos que encontré en la isla. Tendré que seguir cavando mas profundo.
