Now I know how the old man felt while he was teaching me how to hunt. We stopped seeing eye to eye even before I left the tribe, but I'll always thank him for the time he spent telling me the same damn things over and over again. Must have drove him wold inside, but he never showed it.
Hasn't been easy to imitate that patience. Half of this sorry bunch is green as grass, and the half that isn't would rather hold a spear than a gun. At least they're improving, even if it's at the speed of molasses.
Her highness stops by on occasion, but thankfully it's just for a gander. This'd be even harder with distractions.

Ahora sé cómo se sintió el anciano mientras me enseñaba a cazar. Dejamos de vernos a la cara incluso antes de que deje la tribu, pero siempre le agradeceré el tiempo que pasó contándome las mismas malditas cosas una y otra vez. Debe haberlo empujado hacia adentro, pero nunca lo demostró.
No ha sido fácil imitar esa paciencia. La mitad de este lamentable grupo es verde como la hierba, y la mitad que no lo es prefiere sostener una lanza que un arma. Al menos están mejorando, aunque sea a la velocidad de la melaza.
Su alteza pasa de vez en cuando, pero afortunadamente es solo para echar un vistazo. Esto sería aún más difícil con distracciones.
