Chapter 39

Harry's POV.

Ryan called me and told everything about the issue and what Zayn told him.
I can understand. Zayn's afraid that she'll leave him too or he won't be good enough for her. This sounds absurd to me cause they both are a perfect match. His love for her is something very pure. Very natural. One could easily make out his love for Aurora. He is afraid that Aurora would leave him too, but here we are talking about Aurora. I've been with her for a few months now and from that I can assure that she's never the one to back off. Aurora loves him too. She's hurt because of this moron Zayn.

I have to talk to her and make her understand. Aurora would prefer Kate with her so I invited her too and basically Kate sticks with her all the time and also knows the current issue properly more than any of us do. So it is very necessary to have her around. Ryan said that she'd help us in getting them back together.
Let's just hope for the best.
It's 4.55pm so they must be here any minute.

I saw them coming.

"Hey." I said and smiled.

"Hey Harry," they said in unison and giggled.

"So,what do you wanna talk about?"asked Aurora as she smiled a bit.

"You don't know already? Well, I'm here to talk about Zayn," I said.

Her face changed immediately at the mention of his name. The cheerful Aurora's gone and she looked cold all of a sudden and I felt a completely different aura around her.

"There's nothing to talk about him," she said.

"There is. He even confessed that he's in love with you," I said hoping that would change her mind.

"To whom did he confess?" She asked in an emotionless tone.

"Ryan." I said.

"Oh, I see. Alright tell him to date Ryan and live a happy life with him. I hope the best for them," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Aurora, I'm serious," I said as I sighed.

" Look Harry, I don't even know why you guys including Kate are trying this? We are over. There's nothing to talk about us. In fact, there was nothing. Besides, it's not me whom he told. Even if he does, I won't accept his proposal cause I've had enough of him," she said a bit rudely.

Well, she has every right to be rude. Knowing her, I'm quite glad that she's still talking with me, without yelling or even worse I may earn a slap.

I ain't bailing off Aurora. No matter what.

"He didn't tell you cause he's still afraid of his past," I said.

"Past?" again they asked in unison.

"Yes.You know him as only an arrogant and cold guy with an unpredictable attitude right? But it was his destiny that changed a kind and warm boy like him to whoever he is today and nobody could ever blame him for that," I said as I ran my fingers through my hair.

Nine years ago.

Zayn was 9 at that time. He had always been a cheerful boy. He had everything in this world. To be more precise, love.
Love was filled in his life. His mom and dad loved him unconditionally. He was the youngest of his two brothers.
First brother, Joe and the next one is Jason.
He loved his brothers unconditionally which they returned too.
He was pretty closer to Joe than he was with Jason.
