The Younger Maximoff

Younger brother to Wanda y Pietro (both alive). No spider-powers bc... Other powers. Tineline inaccuracies. Geographical failures. Airport... You don't want to start looking at everything wrong with that.

It had been five long years, the family hoping to be reunited. You probably already know what happened but I'll summarise: 11-year-old Wanda and Pietro agreed to take part in Hydra's enhanced program and by default that meant their younger brother (9 y/o) Peter also had to do it. They were conveniently the only three that survived out of the 10 that participated with Pietro gaining zoomies (super speed, and a bit of strength through training) Wanda could manipulate objects, but Peter never showed them what he could do. He could manipulate realities, yup, plural, he could visit other universes when he chose, and take what he needed from them. He could also destroy and create things as he pleased because the author loves making him overpowered.

Then, while Peter was 'on a mission' (they couldn't control him and let him do what he wanted so he didn't just bust him and his siblings free) the Avengers came and rescued Wanda and Pietro. Needless to say, when he got back and found his siblings missing, Peter was furious, sending out a massive blast of destructive energy, then disappearing to another universe while the whole base collapsed. The forest surrounding it did as well, causing both Wanda and Pietro to scream, believing their brother had been killed. It took a few months for the Avengers to get them to open up about anything, yet they still refused to say anything about the existence of their brother to anyone other than Clint, who had become their father over a year. It was five years until they next saw or heard of Peter, which admittedly was only possible in some weird circumstances.

Peter had enrolled himself in the Midtown School of Science & Technology (MSST) after spending his first year without his siblings universe travelling. He now has strong links to several people in the main universe: he was the leader of a few teams in the ultimates universe, had a good friendship with Eddie and Venom in the Spectacular universe and finally got round to dating Gwen, and repaired his relationship with Liz (friendship), and Harry was his guy in the chair in the Marvel universe. Oh, and we can't forget his friendship with Ned and MJ in the MCU, though neither had any clue about his powers.

The school had gotten them a trip to Sokovia, to 'learn about the background of the newest Avengers' Peter had scoffed at that until the teacher mentioned the rumours they had a younger sibling. MJ had enjoyed drawing his expression of horror after the announcement they were going to be given one task throughout the trip: gather as much evidence to support or disprove the theory. Peter had planned on paying like he was going to go then suddenly come down with something the night of the trip so he didn't have to go. That all changed when he saw on the news that the Avengers were going to be there, so he set off running and grabbed his stuff from other universes as he ran, needless to say, the passers-by were shocked at the suitcase and backpack appearing put of thin air.

He arrived with minutes to spare, which Mr Harrington pointed out, not so subtly. "So loser, why are you here?" MJ asked, before groaning loudly at the fact they'd been put in a four with Flash.
"Family reasons," he panted.
"Ha!" Flash shouted in disbelief.
It was a long flight and it only got worse when they landed, the luggage scanner was broken so the staff had to do it in person, going through their luggage one by one. Unfortunately, they only spoke Sokovian, which only Peter could understand, so he had to guide them through what to do without giving away he could understand everything they were saying. When they finally left the building they discovered that the school had forgotten to buy a coach, so Peter sighed in resignation and led the way to the nearest station. They finally got off it and outside, where Mr Harrington wanted to buy maps, so did the rational thing and went to ask a nearby shopkeeper - who didn't speak English - so Peter had to take over, having a fluent conversation in Sokovian with him and paying for the maps. He ignored the shocked stares and took over as the tour guide - they didn't turn up either - leading them to the floor beneath his old apartment.

As a thank you for making sure they arrived, they let Peter choose his room first and he picked the room beneath his old bedroom. The next day it was his group's turn to explore the Maximoffs' home (it was a small group in total, then him, Ned, MJ and Flash were a group of 4). Peter faked (tasks) looking interested and not heartbroken at seeing his old house but MJ was not having it. She cornered him while Flash and Ned were somewhere else (idk where ok?), "You're the twins' sibling right?"
He squirmed, fighting his instincts to use his powers and escape, "Wh- what makes you think that?"
MJ was nonplussed, "Fluent in their first language. Knew your way around without a map. Only came after it was announced they would be here. The room you picked. Need I go on?"
Sensing he was fighting a losing battle, Peter caved, "OK, ok you're right. Now if you don't mind covering for me I have to go see my siblings!" There was a brief purple flash as he went to a different dimension and MJ was left to stand there shocked with no clue what to tell the others.

Meanwhile, Clint dragged Wanda into a warehouse," C'mon Wands what's wrong? You've not been concentrating throughout the strategy brief," his tone softened, "is it him?"
"Yeah," she gulped, "I can sense him so close to us. It's been five years, why can't I just leave it at he's probably dead like everyone else has?" she began sobbing.
"You know why Wanda, and I believe in you." he consoled her. They both ran out into the fight again, neither failing to notice the purple magic helping them out, but could never narrow down who was doing it. They had to assume the comms had been hacked as well because whenever someone asked for help, the purple wisps - which looked somewhat similar to Wanda's magic, come to think of it - would go there.

It all came to a head eventually, Pietro was about to get hit, most likely an artery which would be fatal at this point. There was another quick purple flash and someone was stood in front of Pietro, then sent a massive blast of... Something, no one watching had any clue what, before collapsing. Wanda and Clint yelled as they rushed forward to Pietro who was cradling the teenager, that much was apparent now, with tears streaming down their faces. The rest of the team dithered for a few seconds, unsure what to do before Bruce leapt into action, "We have to get them to the Quinjet!" Pietro zoomed away, Wanda using her magic to keep up as much as possible and Clint jumped on Nat's motorbike (he'll pay for that later) and roared after them. "I'm glad they saved Pietro, but why are they so special to them three? Tony asked as they raced back to the jet.
"I have a lot of theories," Natasha commented before returning to her mutterings about the 56 ways she was going to murder Clint.

An hour later and Peter was laying across Wanda and Pietro's lap, Bruce having declared he was fine, just tired. He startled awake, then cursed, "We need to turn back! I'm meant to be on a school trip!"
When no one reacted, he just teleported back to the apartment, wincing at his siblings' cries, then yelling ouch when he landed on his side. Right in front of Flash, MJ and Ned. They stared at him. He stared back as he climbed off the floor and walked towards his bedroom, then instantly fell back into a deep sleep when he hit the bed. He was woken by the whole group of people that were on the trip with him standing back and his siblings sitting next to the bed. "So... An explanation?" they chorused.
"No," he stated before going to the Marvel universe, which was in the most similar time zone to the MCU. Unfortunately for him he also teleported his siblings and entire class, who stood there bewildered when Miles entered and called out, "Pete! Glad you're here! Someone's stuck in the neo-cortex again!"
"Why haven't we destroyed that thing yet? Eh, ring Harry and tell him to come over with the machine then?" at Miles concerned look he continued, "my powers are on the fritz, too strong."
"Ok then. By the way, we're having another spider outbreak if you have time to deal with it?" Miles was still slightly dubious but went with it as Peter trapped all the infected before teleporting everyone other than miles back to their universe. "Eh, there are some other universe that are cool to go to, but I need to rest now so bye!" he shooed them all away.
