"Now we have to make great strategies for Langford to win the TOW, right, Mercy?"

As excitedly as a kid in a candy store, he says once we get into his massive room that is far larger than my apartment. If he were a dog, his tail swinging right now. He sits down on his king size bed whilst Mercy and I sit at the dining table put near it. We left Mrs. Tiffin's study right after Mercy made her mother to promise she will accept me if I win this TOW thing, which I still don't have any clue about.
"Umm... What the heck is TOW?"
Timidly, I ask them to explain about this alien word.
"TOW is short for Teen Of the World and it's kind of like a Miss Universe. The judges will choose the best teenager of the nominees, seeing every aspect of them including intelligence, manners, senses, and skills necessary to mention their beauty."
Mercy explains matter-of-factly. And Hero elaborates,
"The winner will be awarded with 5 million dollars which happens to be as much as you need. Mercy won in that contest when she was 16 and so does Selena."
Wow. So two of my respecting people won this prize? It must be a very honorable contest.
Taken aback, I stay silent while he carries on.
"And the first winner was no one but Martha Fiennes, our mother. This award enabled her to win our father's heart at that time. Therefore, she can't refuse you if you win in this contest."

Now I see why Mercy made a deal with her mother about me winning in the TOW. This contest means so much for her, thus winning the Grand-Prix is the best way to show her that I'm worthy for Hero. But there's one thing I wonder ; is there any chance that I can actually win in that contest?
"O...ok. It sounds very hard to win the first prize but do you think I can win?"
I voice out my doubt with a dry mouth. They look at each other before settling their eyes on me and state at the same time,
"It's close to impossible."
"It's almost impossible."
Ouch. That hurts. Sure I wasn't expecting them to assure me that I can easily win yet their answer greatly shrinks my already small confidence. I look down to my feet in embarrassment and disappointment.
"But,"
However, Mercy continues,
"I don't think it's impossible either."
This remark makes me gaze up at her. She eyes her little brother and urges him to speak. Sensing her gaze, he avert his eyes to hers, returning them to mine shortly after.
"Yeah, I agree with Mercy, Langford. Yes, you're too normal to compete those fancy bitches but I'm sure you still can impress the judges with your skills and personality. Since you are the only one I approved of."
Although his reason makes no sense to me, it's true it gives me a hope. Maybe because his emerald eyes hold much sincerity and honesty. I can feel it on my skin that he has faith in me. And his faith in me makes me believe myself.

"To be honest, it's going to be far from easy for you to win. You have to work so hard to master the skills that are required in the contest in 10 days. With all these, can you still give it a try?"
Mercy worriedly studies my expression. She seems not wanting to pressure me to do something I don't want to. I appreciate her kindness, but I've already decided. Straighten up my back, I utter,
"Yes, I'll do anything."
This brings smiles on their faces. Hero throws an I'm-proud-of-you gaze though he doesn't say it out loud.
"Of course you have to, stupid! Now I'm gonna call my men so we can come up with good training plans."
Hero jumps up from his bed and fishes his phone out of his back pocket to call his boys.

Within 10 minutes or so, Mercy, the F4 and I are seated at the dining table in Hero's room and discussing who will teach me what.
I didn't know at all but these people are unbelievably blessed with so many gifts from God. All of them are able to do most things with no difficulty. Singing, playing instruments, cooking, dancing, etc. Plus, they are one of the bests when it comes to their strong suits.

Mercy's speciality is cooking. She can make literally anything she has eaten before without seeing recipes. I heard that she even has her own restaurants whose menus are all created by her. Gavin is great at dancing and he's won in countless contests throughout his whole life. Shane is a language genius. He can speak about 10 languages fluently beside English. Man, I envy he doesn't need Google translation. Speaking of music, Ross is the king. He can play guitar, bass, drums, piano and so on. Never forget that his singing voice is angelic. He definitely should create a band and release songs. And to everyone's surprise, Hero is also good at everything if not better than them. Therefore, he decided that he will teach me the proper manners, which is the most the total irony. The man who I thought was the rudest person in the world teaches me how to behave politely. What an irony it is. Nevertheless, I trust him about this just like he does me.
