IT WAS A NEW DAY, the two siblings were waiting on Finn to arrive into their hands. They decided to let Marcus go, and go talk some sense into his people. The plan was steady, Finn's death was the answer to everything, to the truce. They weren't going to show any mercy to Skaikru.

"they're taking too long, why can't we just end this and kill Finn." Alexander groaned

Lexa rolled her eyes. "they burned our people, who's to say they won't kill us when we walk through their gates to attack the boy. I may be commander and you may be a leader here too, but we're not to them."

Alexander scoffed. "all they've got is guns, we've trained for things like this since we were kids. We've got way more weapons, and other advantages"

"We're not going to their Village, end of the discussion, Alexander."

The boy sighed in annoyance, the two stared at each other for a while. Lexa could tell that her brother had an off feeling about Skaikru, but he couldn't let his feelings and hatred in the word get in the way of a truce. He kept his eyes on her until someone came running into Lexa's room.

"Heda."

Lexa looked up and narrowed her eyes, she hummed in response.

"we've got the boy, should we prepare?" The man asked

Alexander nodded. "yes, go prepare. now leave us."

With that, the man left the two alone, and the siblings once again looked at each other. Lexa snorted as she saw the upset look on Alexander's face.

"Told you they'd listen."

Alexander rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up, Heda."

Lexa cringed at the name as she gave her brother a look, she hated being called that by him. But it was only because it made it seem like she was in charge of him when in reality they were both in charge. Alexander noticed the look on her face so this time he let out a snort.

Eventually, he ended up leaving the room and roamed around the woods. Until he heard crying and talking. He quickly motioned for the guards to stop walking and to listen, he scanned the woods and saw Clarke and some girl standing near each other. The boy made his way towards them, once they heard his footsteps, out of reflex, Clarke picked the gun up and pointed it at him before noticing it was him.

At that moment all the guards had a knife against the two girls' throats. Alexander couldn't help but snort, Clarke gave him a look which caused the boy to roll his eyes.

"put your weapons down, now." Alexander sighed as he kept his eyes on the girl who was next to Clarke.

Clarke furrowed her eyes. "what are you doing here? thought you didn't like me."

"Oh, I don't. I'm here to say congratulations." The boy responded with a shrug.

"for what?"

Alexander snorted. "for not being stupid, and sending the boy to us. If you hadn't done so, I would've come and took him myself, and I know you wouldn't want that."

The girl next to Clarke, instantly slapped Alexander on the face leaving a mark. The guards were quick to hold her down onto the floor. Alexander held onto his face and rolled his eyes at the girl who was now being held down.

"now that wasn't nice."

"Hey! let go of her!" Clarke exclaimed as she pointed her gun at Alexander. "please, Alex. Stop it."

The boy took a second before calling his guards off, he helped the girl up. Who surprisingly took his hand. Once he brought her up from the ground the girl dust herself off and kept a glare on Alexander.

"and who's this?" The girl asked

Alexander narrowed his eyes. "you've got to be kidding."

But the girl shook her head. "nope, I don't know who you are."

Clarke couldn't help but snort, along with the guards. Alexander turned around to face them and waved them off. The guards walked away, but not too far, once they were out of sight the boy turned towards the girls.

Alexander huffed. "I'm Alexander, Lexa's brother. And you are?"

"I'm Raven."

"Hmm." The boy hummed as he stared at the two girls. "well, Raven. And Clarke, I came here to warn you both of something."

Clarke looked at the boy confused. "about what?"

"I know your people, and I also know you'd do anything to get, your dear ol' friend back. Including killing my sister. And I can't have you do that, because you'd just be starting a war you'd never win. And I'm 100 percent sure you don't want more of your people dead—so with that being said. Take this as your warning, if you do anything to mess up our plans for tonight, not only will I make sure your boyfriend dies, but I will make sure you two and the rest of your people die." he paused and looked at Clarke, he looked her right in the eyes. "and if you even think, about laying a hand on my sister, Clarke. I will have your mother's head delivered to you."

The two shuddered at everything the boy just said, he smiled at the two and clapped his hands together.

"I'll see you both later, tonight. Hope you enjoy the show." He smirked

Alexander whistled to grab the guard's attention and motioned for them to follow him as he made his way back to the Village. On his way there he couldn't get Raven off his mind, she was beautiful. And quite frankly he felt a little bad for her. But he couldn't let one random emotion come in the way of his job.

Finn killed innocent people in their village, he needed to pay. They needed justice, and the only way to get justice was by Finn's death. And it was too late to change that plan since everything was already set up. Everyone was ready to see the boy die, and in other people's eyes yes, it would be cruel.

But to the grounders it was normal for them, it was how they acted.

It was their way of making peace with the dead.
