~ Chapter 61 ~

Cosmo is on the bridge. Y/N shows up with a few boxes.

"Oh, hey, Cosmo."

"Oh... Hi, Y/N."

"How are you doing?"

"Doing fine. You?"

"I'm fine. Besides being a little roughed up by Shadow."

Cosmo frowned.

"I'm sorry about your friend. You must really want to help him remember."

"Well, life can be hard... But sometimes, you just got to keep on trying and maybe they'll remember you."

"I wish had the power to do that."

Y/N smiled and patted her head, causing her to blush.

"Don't doubt yourself. I'm sure you have the ability that's just waiting to come out from inside you."

Cosmo looks at her sparkles in her eyes before smiling back at her.

Tails and Y/N finish erecting the palm trees on the ship.

"That's the last one."

"I've been meaning to ask you, what's the point of having these artificial palm trees? It's not exactly tropical out here in space." Y/N asked, tilting her head.

"Yeah, I know, but it's all because of Chuck. He once told me that it's important to make a ship like home to keep up the crew's morale."

Y/N sweatdrops.

"Oh... really? I'm sure his ideas... are original."

Tails giggled.

"How's your head, Tails?"

"All fine actually. If it wasn't for your healing, we wouldn't have found another Chaos Emerald. All thanks to you. Come to think of it, your crystal sure has been upgrading your power."

"Yeah, it does. And it's amazing. Although, I have some limits. If I keep on using them, I lose consciousness."

"Really?" Tails asked, feeling a little surprised and worried.

"Yeah, but I just gotta keep it low for now. Though I wondered what happens if I did use all of them like full power, what would happen to me?"

Now this made Tails' mind full of theory and slight fear. He wondered the same thing, but he can be wrong. Or maybe not.

"I'm sure you'll be okay. Just keep your power on medium and then maybe you'll be able to get use to using full power for you to embrace it."

Y/N smiles and gives him a kiss on the cheek, causing his face to turn pink.

"Thanks, Tails. You're always the smart and kind friend. Even cute."

Y/N walks away to find others if they need any help, leaving Tails who had a goofy smile on his face and fainted on the spot.

Amy hammers a dent until it is repaired. Y/N arrives with her stack of boxes along with Sonic who decided to come and help.

"Hey, Amy. Can you watch this stuff for us?"

Y/N and Sonic sets the boxes down and starts to leave.

"Wait Y/N!"

Y/N stops while Sonic keeps on going. When Amy was sure he was gone, she turned to Y/N.
