"thanks for driving us back, dal," i thanked dallon as i hopped out of the car.
"yeah, no problem. don't do any dumb shit while you're alone," dallon teased.
"we won't. have a good night!" i waved as ryan hopped out and shut the car door.
"you too. bye guys!" dallon rolled up the window and drove away.
ryan and i walked over to the front door and i knocked.
"it's been awhile since you've been here, huh?" i asked. ryan nodded.
the door opened.
"brend- ryan?" my mom's gaze immediately went to the boy standing next to me.
"hey, mrs. urie," ryan greeted her.
"ryan, oh my god. it's been so long!" she went to hug ryan. "how have you been?"
"i've been alright, how've you been?" he answered.
"oh, i'm doing good. come in!" she opened the door wider. the two of us walked inside.
"seems like you're not the only urie who missed me, huh?" ryan whispered. i rolled my eyes.
"whatever. wanna go to my room?" i asked. ryan smiled and nodded.
