Brad turns to Jen, smiling under his mask, while stroking her arm.

Dr. Richards : With that being said, I think we're ready to give this another go... Maria?

Maria : I'm ready.

Jen nods, as Dr. Richards hands Brad yet another cup

Dr. Richards : I've noticed you're not a big fan of this, but...

Brad : Who would be?

Jen : Honey.

He grabs the cup, laughing before leaving the room.

Later, that evening :

Jen : Let's hope everything works out this time.

Jen sighs as she sits down on the couch, noticing how Brad seems distracted.

Jen : Brad?

Brad : Mhm.

Jen : What's up?

Brad : It's just... all this child talk just reminded me of the custody battle in a few of weeks.

Jen : Oh, that's right. I forgot about that.

He lays his head in his hands, before Jen tries to encourage him.

Jen : You've got one of the best lawyers in the city though.

Brad : I don't know if that's gonna be enough honey, I really don't.

Jen : But the kids, they love you. Their opinion must mean something.

Brad : Yeah, but Maddox...

Remembering the incident on the plane that occurred when Brad was drunk, she nods.

Jen : That was then. You're sober now Brad, it must count for something.

Brad : Yeah, I'm sober, but Angelina's so good with them though... so good.

Jen : So are you.

Jen lays a reassuring hand on his back, as he takes a deep breath.

Brad : Not good enough, according to Angelina and her team of lawyers.

Jen : I don't know what to say...

Brad stares at her sympathetic eyes, wondering if this is the right time to ask her something he's been thinking about the last few days.

Brad : Jen?

Brad : Will you testify for me?

Jen : What?

Brad : Will you testify against Angelina, in court?
