2 weeks later :
Jen : What's going on now?
Maria : I'm waiting.
Brad : It's two minutes right? You're supposed to wait two minutes?
He turns to Jen, with an impatient look on his face as they're talking on the phone with Maria.
Jen : Yes Brad, it's two minutes.
Maria : I'm too nervous to check.
Brad : How long has it been now?
Jen : Uhm... 1 minute and... you can turn it around now Maria.
Maria : What?
Brad : Turn it around!
Maria : Oh god...
Picking up the pregnancy test, she closes her eyes as she brings it close to her face.
Jen : Maria! What does it say?
Maria : It's...
As she slowly opens her eyes, her stomach drops while seeing the result.
Maria : Negative...
Brad : What?
Jen : Alright...
Brad slams the table, before taking a deep breath.
Jen : This can happen, I mean...
Maria : I'm gonna take another.
Brad : Take another, yes!
Maria : I swear, I've been feeling odd lately... I really thought I was pregnant.
Maria takes the stick out, letting it sit in the cup for a few seconds, before laying it face down on the sink.
Jen : It's okay, if it's negative, it's negative.
Brad : It might be a false negative Jen, I mean...
Jen : Brad, the odds of that happening are really slim, I mean the Doctor said this could happen.
Brad : Why do you have to be so negative? At least wait and see what the other one says.
Jen : I'm not negative, the test is negative.
He rolls his eyes at her, while Maria's holding the 2nd test in her hand.
Maria : Guys...
Brad : I know you don't wanna get your hopes up, but do you really...
Maria : Guys!
Jen : What?
Maria : I'm pregnant!
Brad : Really?!
Maria : Two lines!
Jen : Are they strong? Are they strong lines?
Maria : Oh, they're very strong.
Jen gasps, before jumping into Brad's arms out of joy.
Brad : Oh my god!
Maria : But guys...
Letting go of Brad, as she realizes what this means, Jen takes a deep breath.
Jen : One was still negative.
Maria : Yeah.
Brad : You'll go to the hospital Maria, and take a more reliable pregnancy test there.
Jen : Yeah.
Maria : Yes. I'll call Richards now.
