Impressions: From the author of God Level Summoner and The King's Return, this is also an online gaming novel but set in the future~

So our MC transmigrates into the future to a...penniless orphan. He finds himself a part-time job as a game booster of the current most popular game, a game which uses cards (plants, animals, Western Gods, Ghost etc.) and its also possible to make your own cards. MC finds that he is talented in card-making and starts creating character cards based on Chinese history/literature/folk lore etc. He finds that his Boss is actually an old pro player who is preparing to create a new team so they joined hands, recruited other team members etc and joined the competition. MC creates all kinds of character cards from different stories (Journey to the West, Dream of the Red Chamber, Three Kingdoms etc) since he wants to re-introduce the Chinese culture that does not exist in the future world. Anyways, they meet other teams, get stronger, uses his cards to fight in the individual, doubles, team competition...all the way to the championship. 

Like in author-sama's other gaming novels, the competition is the main focus and the romance is in the Extras. Only the main couple gets together in the main text. ML is MC's senior brother. They worshipped the same Master in card-making. As per author notes, our ML is one of the gentlest and doting gong that author-sama has written. Well.. not sure if he is the gentlest but he certainly isn't the silent type like the Card Room ML or GLS ML, he is also very considerate and supportive to our MC.

I like this cos you get to learn about Chinese lit. XD I found myself looking for a copy of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio cos I really like the ghost cards he mentioned and want to read the stories behind them~ The tactics are also good although a bit confusing since its MTL, plus the audience/viewers and other players' reactions are very funny.

I still would've preferred reading it translated though (Someone picks this up pls!!!) And am still searching for the raws of the Extras (I only MTLed the main text) cos all the romance is there~~
