Synopsis:

Impressions: Picked this up since this is from same author of I Just Want to be in a Relationship which I really liked~ This also has a high IQ, low EQ ML~

So our MC slaved away for his father and half-brother in the last life, after getting a terminal illness, his family revealed their true face and did not care for his life and death. After rebirth, MC leaves the company cos he did not want to waste the last two years in his life working. He also planned to divorce ML who was in a contract marriage with him so he can finally 'eat meat' before he dies XD

ML has been secretly inlove with MC since 7 years ago when he met MC when they were still students. After that, he built his company and then moved to the city where MC lives in so he can be close him. When MC's company needed capital, he proposed a contract marriage. So when MC proposed divorce, ML did not agree. And after getting advise from friends, he started to be more proactive and show his love for MC. MC is moved, but thinking that he will die two years later, he refuses ML again and again QAQ. Until he finally accepts, then tell ML his reason for rejecting him, which is, he has a terminal disease that is hereditary from his mom. However, when they checked in the hospital, they find out that MC is healthy...but MC is SO SURE that he will get the disease cos he died from it in the last life. ML investigates MC Mom's case to get an idea about the disease...then discovers that it was not an illness at all but deliberate poisoning by MC Dad (on MC and MC Mom). MC revenges on his family and sues in court, then continue to be lovey dovey with ML.

I like that MC is very calm, he can deal with his hypocrite Dad and son 'calmly', not actively revenging but he would also dig a pit for them when there's a chance. At the same time, I didn't like that our MC was very...callous. He thinks that the contract marriage is nothing to him so it's also nothing to ML. He's very eager to divorce , or rather he doesn't take the marriage seriously at all, so there are some scenes that would make me think "At any case, MC is also married person ah!"  Hmm.. a bit scummy.

ML...is also at fault. After all, he really held on to the SECRET LOVE and did not say anything to MC for many years. He reminds me of the ML from Please Confess to Me. But when ML became proactive, it also hurt that MC rejected him again and again, especially since we can see how pure and sincere is ML's love is for MC.

This picks up after they get together, more sweet/fluffy moments which I liked~ Haven't found the raws of the extra which is about their past life. Overall, not as fluffy as I Just Want to Be in a Relationship but since its not heavy drama, I still liked it~ Just found our ML pitiful for awhile when he has not yet caught up with MC XD
