Synopsis:

A story of a butcher and a ger

So our MC transmigrates to ancient times as a butcher. He crushes on an orphaned ger who is being ostrasized by the village. Shou's Dad died and his Mom ran away with another man so their family is subject to gossip in the village. When people see MC helping shou, they all scold shou as shameless and spread rumors of him seducing men.​

As I said, MC has a crush on shou and shou actually likes MC too but he thinks MC only pities him/sees him as a younger brother. When the rumors get worse, MC decides to confess to shou and shou agrees. They get married and open a dimsum shop in town. Not long after, shou gets preggo and MC's business is targeted by another store in town. Laters, the problem gets resolved and just when MC was happy, shou got into an accident and gave birth prematurely. He rushes home, waited until shou give birth. Then timeskip to six years later when their son is being a bear kid. The End.

Hmm.. its okay. Not that...memorable though. MC's personality isn't really distinctive, he's just a guy making a living. The butcher part wasn't really given emphasis. (I don't remember which CN I've read before that mentioned about butchers having a "bloody" atmosphere cos their job always sees blood/slaughter so they're somewhat hard to marry) Anyways, MC could've been a restaurant owner/carpenter/farmer and I don't think it would've mattered much. Aside from the unrequited love at the beginning, the rest are all trivial daily life or about the side CP. There's nothing wrong with daily life but the chapters here are kinda generic, there's just some dialogue of MC bantering with his bestfriend or shou getting scolded by his grandma and that's already one chapter. Also, the sudden ending was also off-putting. Ending of previous chap is shou giving birth and the next chapter is already six years later.
