Synopsis:

The web celebrity, Chen Suyang, transmigrated into a film adaptation he'd just finished rolling the death scene. Now he has to play the villain—the Evil Sect's young master, Su Yang.

To return to his own world, he faithfully acted according to the script, and solemnly recited his lines—waiting for the day he'd die under the protagonist's sword.

But.. why did he feel there was something wrong with the plot? Wait, where's the part where he dies under the protagonist's sword? How did it become rolling under the protagonist, being done by him? This... this... this situation's too embarrassing?!

...

In a dense forest, Su Yang holds a sword to Gu Feidi's throat, speechless dismay in his eyes.

Su Yang, extremely confused: I have recited all my lines, where is the person in the script that would come to his rescue???

Gu Feidi, emotionally moved: He could have killed me, but he hesitates to make the move.

In the wasteland, Su Yang blocks a fatal blow aimed at Gu Feidi.

Su Yang, enraged: Motherf*cker! If he dies now, who would kill me and send me home!!!

Gu Feidi, worried: He's willing to give up his life to save me.

In a cave, Su Yang watches over Gu Feidi's cold sweat from poisoning.

Su Yang, distressed: The female lead's run away, who'll detoxify him by mouth-to-mouth?!

Gu Feidi, in anticipation: Why hasn't he kissed me?

Impressions: This is completely translated. This has several translations, I read the ones from Purplely site.

So our MC is a small internet celebrity acting in an idol drama based on a novel. He is cast as the villain/protagonist's rival. Then, he transmigrates into the novel as his character. Convinced that he will be able to go back home after he dies, he tries all kinds of suicide and fails. So he decides that if he follows the script, he must be able to go back home.

So he began to entangle the protagonist according to the script but because his personality is different from the villain, the protagonist (ML) didn't hate him. In fact, ML started to like him and keeps thinking that the previous rumors about the OG must be untrue or he is being forced etc. Laters, in order to save ML's life, MC sacrificed himself again and again and finally realized that he likes our ML too.

By now, the plot is already different from the script of the idol drama. MC & ML belongs to different camps in jianghu. ML is the 'right way' while MC is in the 'evil way'. They elope and learn about the conspiracies and grievances involving their parents.

Laters, the problem is solved and MC learns the truth, that this is #SPOILER actually a BL novel (the idol drama must've made it BG) and author-sama told him she can grant him a wish. His wish is #spoiler to be able to QT/world hopping with ML.

This has so much potential for angst. Jianghu, standing on opposite sides, grievances of previous generation etc, but because of our MC's silly character, there was no chance for that. This still has some mild drama though, mostly from the ML (cos he's so sad that MC is always sacrificing for him plus the OG's life experience.)

For me, this is similar to The Disabled Tyrant's Pet Palm Fish [Transmigration] in the sense that this is a feel good novel. Don't focus on the logic too much (why is the MC so sure he would go back if he dies/follows the script?!) and just read it for the fluff and sweet moments between MC & ML.

The general plot is quite good. Their move/technique names are cool, I'm glad that I didn't MTL this and murder the names of their moves XD It's just that the mobs/minor sects are pretty annoying cos they like to gossip so much =_= (Is there no normal/reasonable person among the mobs?) Not sure if its good or bad, but MC never really escaped the 'this is a novel' mentality, so he treats his life lightly or whatever ML does is attributed to the 'protagonist halo'. I mean, its good cos it never got too dramatic but sometimes it gets frustrating cos its like our MC doesn't really care what happens to the other people who would be left behind/their feelings. He's just satisfied that he followed the script/closer to going home.

Like I said, this has the potential to be a deep angsty plot but it didn't happen. (It's okay though cos I wouldn't touch this if this has heavy drama XD.) Read this for BL in the jianghu.
