Impressions: Another ancient times farming life! I haven't gotten tired of it yet :3

So our MC is a retired soldier. After retirement, he was suppose to go back to his hometown but witnessed an accident and saved people, and then he died~ And became a son-in-law. Yes, our MC married INTO the shou's family so his status is kinda low.

When he first crossed over, he didn't look too deep into the original's memory so he didn't know anything about 'gers'. He thought shou was his wife's younger brother and asked him where his wife is XD XD Our shou is a little firecracker so of course, he was beaten. Shou was also mute so their communication didn't go smoothly~ Thinking they were both men, MC even slept with him on the same bed XD (Hooligan) Laters, MC finds out the truth and saw that shou also has a low status in their family and he felt that if he left, shou would be too pitiful.

In the previous life, MC is from a broken home so he plans to stay single foreevvaahh.. So our MC's goal became...to give shou a good life, find him a good husband and then run away XD Like all poor to rich, he starts some small business, selling straw products, bamboo products, foods etc. After his father-in-law died, their family separated and MC & shou moved out. BUT laters, their brothers/sister-in-law moved in with them so its not like being separated, rather they all just left the harmful 2nd family (There are 3 sons and 1 ger in shou's family. 1st bro died leaving a widowed sister-in-law and 1 ger son. 2nd brother has 1 son and 1 daughter, they're the evil family. 3rd brother is divorced. Shou is the 4th child).

Anyways, they left the 2nd family and continue to do business, their life is getting better and better. Shou likes MC, MC is very good to him, its only natural that he will be moved, but shou is also insecure cos he feels like MC never really treats himself as his 'husband'. At first, MC is raising shou like a 'son'  then he also noticed that he starts to like shou romantically but he is terrified of having a family so he wants to leave and see if his feelings will stay or fade away. Laters, he agreed to really be with shou, but needs to wait for him to grow up a little more first (at least 18 y/o!) More prosperity to the village, MC even becomes the village chief~

Then some intrigue cos of shou's family (They were originally from the Capital). Anyways, some dogblood previous generation stuff was revealed, that happened cos of royalty infighting. The 2nd family also shows up from time to time to be disgusting. First, the daughter and then laters, the son. They are practically the villains here~ After MC and shou got the son of the 2nd family arrested, the story ends there. And then some postscript, that the royalty infighting in the Capital has also settled.

Although I've read so many farming novels, there are always some new setting from time to time. Like this, when all the family lives together cos most of the time, MC & ML will live on their own, or live with their in-laws only. But here, MC & ML lived in the same house together with the 3rd brother/1st sister-in-law family. Their straw-weaving, essential oil, umbrellas are also new. No restaurant/selling ice trope.

I still love the bringing the whole village to prosperity though~ And MC did it by formally being a village chief. MC is too good! He is actually more kind/soft-hearted. In some cases, shou is more ruthless than him. Shou's fierce reputation is because he beat up someone who wanted to take advantage of him when he was young. Still, shou was also traumatized by it hence the muteness. (Glad he recovered later)  I like MC and his shou. Shou isn't really a gentle 'wifey' character. He's just as assertive as MC~~
