Impressions: This is NOT the transmigration to farming life at ancient times I was looking for.

Like mentioned in the tags, this has a little bit of everything, apocalypse, magical space, rebirth, amnesia, transmigrated FL, System, interstellar. Author-sama seems to have crammed all the settings she wanted (but surprisingly no mpreg). Fortunately it didn't get too confusing for me.

So our MC is from a zombie apocalypse world. He was tortured and experimented on cos of his magical space, then he died and transmigrated into a ger in ancient times. One thing I liked is that MC is very loved by his family in both lives. In the zombie apocalypse world, his big brothers became the Zombie Emperor (Yaas, both of them) and tried to save him from the lab. In ancient times, because MC is the only ger in the family and was sickly since birth, he is also doted on by his new family. What's more, his big brother and second brother looked like his big bro and second bro in previous life. He also has a big sister, then twins younger brothers and twin nephew & niece. Two cute little buns!!!!! UwU

Since its transmigrating to ancient times, I thought this would a 'poor to rich' sort of story like The Only Favourite Ugly Husband, but it is NOT. At least, they didn't become rich through MC's efforts in THIS LIFE. Lol. Now, MC's new eldest bro gets into an accident and rebirths. In eldest brother's previous life, their family became rich cos of MC finding business opportunities everywhere, their 2nd bro who is a scholar also got a high position in court but because of a transmigrated FL, he was framed and their whole family was killed due to a conspiracy. Eldest bro is happy that he returned to 5 years ago when everyone is still alive. He tells his 2nd brother to warn him against transmigrated FL and cos he's the smart one in the family. They also know that MC is no longer their original brother (MC confessed to big bro in previous life). So this previous life is only known to three of them (MC was eavesdropping) and they make a plan to avoid their previous life's bad ending.

On our ML, ML is an amnesiac God of War!!! (Reminds me of QWFOD and You Can't Be Fierce Towards Me!)He is rescued and picked up by MC Dad before. Big Bro is confused cos there's no such person in their previous life and MC remained single till death. But in this life, MC marries ML so they are not sure what effect it would have in their life. The effect is pretty big cos ML turned out to be the Emperor's brother! ML's amnesia got cured when they were attacked by assassins and MC went into coma. Laters, MC wakes up and meets the Emperor and his shou. Emperor's shou is actually a System from interstellar age sent to change the fate of MC and his brothers during the apocalypse. XD But System got sent through ancient times by accident, good thing he met MC here!

Anyways, ML solves transmigrated FL and other enemies and then inherited a jade with magical space like MC. ML meets a Dragon inside but he refuses to learn cultivation but gave all resources to System. Using those, System creates a sub-System and sends it to apocalypse world then he becomes human and marries the Emperor. Emperor and ML has another ger little brother which ended up getting together with MC second bro. The End

Extras is about 2nd brother side CP, the System's past (when he was given the mission) and MC niece and nephews all grown up.

This was pretty interesting. Just too many settings XD Too many things are happening with MC and ML, that it doesn't really feel like a "Retirement Life". MC was supposed to be from the apocalypse world but he's too weak (?), not just cos his body was a sickly ger, but overall, like when the assasin was coming. His legs couldn't move and he just closed his eyes waiting for the knife. MC can be overdramatic sometimes like his reaction with ML's jade. (Sorry MC!). The magical space golden finger is rarely used except for the drinking spring water and growing medicinal plants. And he never told ML about his apocalypse past. (although ML still learnt it through a dream anyway) My favorite thing here would have to be the adorable little buns and our very caring ML, he is especially sensitive to MC's moods. I didn't really like our MC that much (Sorry!) so  it was the two cutie pies and ML that kept me MTL-ing till the end.

This is just an okay novel for me. I guess, I just expected peaceful farming and growing old from the title. I liked the part when they were still living in the village, too bad that didn't last longer, and I think they never came back to their home. MC family also moved back to the Capital so its really no longer a rural farmlife sort of story. :/

Someone already gave me a reco for rural farm life. Will try that next!
