Impressions: Pretty short, it has its own cute and sweet moments, but the fluff is not enough, esp. after they officially get together. I wanted more fluff.

So our MC is a medical researcher, he dies and transmigrate into a novel as the rich second generation supporting male lead. In the novel, he is there to help the Female Lead in all her problems but FL will still choose the Male Lead over him again and again. Anyways, MC is gay so he doesn't want this role anymore, but FL is a good girl while the Male Lead is an immature selfish a**hole so when the FL encounters problem, he still chooses to help. 

Anyways, MC gets thrown by his parents to a small pharmaceutical company in the county asking our ML (who's a family friend) to look after him while he's there. MC is a kind and sunshine-y guy, while ML is right on MC's strike zone so they both have a secret crush on each other. It took a quite awhile for them to realize their own minds then the awkward avoidance period before they finally decided to sound each other out then get together.

On MC's career, MC is a medical researcher in the previous life and their world is still ahead in terms of the medical field so MC can create products that are more advanced/effective than what's in the current market. Lots of faceslapping on Weibo for those doubting our MC's product. MC being more famous and also more busy so MC & ML are basically in a long distance relationship most of the time (another reason for the few sugar)

The book plot get abandoned early cos the Female Lead is a rational girl, when she finds out that the Male Lead has a fiancee, she decides to break up with him. Same with the fiance, when she learned that the Male Lead was actually cheating on her, she broke the engagement herself. This book actually has good female characters like MC's tough big sister or even his very first research assistant. Although they all have few screentimes, the Female Lead shows up from time to time to ask MC for help when she encounters troubles.

#SPOILER Ending is MC & ML marriage after MC finishes his cancer research which lasted for 5 years. Then Extras is the side CP which is MC's researcher colleague x the fiancee's big brother, where big bro can't forget colleague after their one night stand.

It's sweet and short, although this is the first time I've read where the MC is a researcher and invented cosmetics and medicine/treatment, but its basically the same as the usual rebirth novel. I guess, if there's any difference, it's that there are likable female characters.  I wish the Female Lead and Male Lead ending where also showed, I'm kinda curious what happened to them in the end~
