Synopsis:

Every novel has a slag character, the one who decides to abandon the protagonist at his lowest, most helpless point, either because he can't stand the poor guy's circumstances or for other reasons. But after the protagonist wins his way in life again, they're the ones who beg with broken sobs to be taken back.

Still, water once spilled can't be recovered again.

Yet the unlucky Shen Jiayan has been bound to a Water Recovery* System to do just that.

Impressions: Hmm... its all very...typical. I mean, there's nothing new. It's okay, I was able to bingeread it MTL, but its not joining my ranks of favorite QT. In fact, for some of the 'customers' , I feel like they're also at fault/deserve it so it kinda irks me that the 'customers' are acting like victims XD 

Arc 1 - Mafia + Business World (Chapter 1-9) - MC becomes a rich second generation who fell inlove with his bodyguard. After being kicked out for a month and living in poverty, the original couldn't withstand the suffering and came running back home. Laters, when the bodyguard became a rich businessman. He bankrupted their business as revenge. MC's mission is to prevent the bankruptcy and make the guy fall for him again. #Spoiler BE.

Arc 2 - Entertainment Industry (Chapter 10-23) - MC becomes a 'vase' with a Film Emperor boyfriend. The original wanted a role but the Film Emperor knew that his acting skills is not on par so he recommends a newcomer instead. Original is jealous, hooks up with a different patron and targets the newcomer. Film Emperor stands up for the newcomer and the original was kicked out of the entertainment circle. MC's mission is to make the Film Emperor stay with him for a lifetime, and to reach higher heights than the newcomer. HE.

Arc 3 - Zombie Apocalypse (Chapter 24-38) - MC becomes the 'wife' of the Captain of an Ability Users team. The original's father died saving the Captain and entrusted his son to him, asking him to marry his son. Captain agrees. As the Captain's 'wife', the original would always toss the team with his demands. The team picks up a 'transmigrator' who becomes a good partner to the Captain that everyone thinks that it'll be good if this is their Captain's 'wife' instead. A small leader takes a fancy to the original and takes him. Although he was rescued later and the small leader was punished, he became half-crazy from the tortures he experienced. When they encountered zombies later, he was abandoned by the team. MC's mission is to make the Captain fall for him, and then die tragically in front of him. This is a BE.

Arc 4 - Ancient times (Chapters 39-53) - MC becomes a monk apprentice. The original was often bullied in his home and was rescued by a monk and takes him away as his apprentice. The original fell inlove with his Master but his Master said that monks are detached from love and refused him. Later, his monk Master get together with his stepbrother who always bullied him. MC's mission is to prevent the Master and the stepbrother from getting together, and make the Master fall inlove with him. HE.

 Arc 5 - Interstellar Reality Show (Chapter 54-67) - MC becomes a contestant in a reality show. The original was an orphan and a little autistic, he is very dependent on a 'brother' in the same orphanage. The brother caught the eye of a rich girl. Brother wants to get together with the girl but also did not want to let go of the original. They join the reality show together when he saw the audience leaning on his CP with the girl, he abandons the original. The rich girl also works behind-the-scenes to slander the original making the netizens cyber bully him. MC's mission is to win the contest, make the 'brother' regret it and be loved by the netizens. The ML here is a different contestant. (Not the brother/mission target). HE

Arc 6 - Cultivation world (Chapter 68-82) - MC becomes a villain in a novel. The original was rescued by a transmigrator. Transmigrator knows he will be the big villain later, so he feels like its okay to 'use' him for now and planned the rescue to get his loyalty. After thoroughly 'using' him to get resources for himself and improve his qualifications, he abandons the original. The transmigrator gets together with the original book shou. MC's mission is to prevent the two of them from getting together and revenge on the transmigrator. The ML here is...#SPOILER, the original book shou XD BE.

Arc 7 - CV Arc (Chapter 83-95) - MC become a fat voice actor. The original is fat so he has low-esteem. He joins the CV circle and gets along with great gods. One of the great gods fell for him and confessed to him live/on-air. The original was so surprised, he accidentally got offline so the great god was left very embarrassed. One of his roommates found out about it and blackmailed him not to go online or he will expose his photo in real life. MC goes online again later but the great god already likes a different person. MC's mission is make the the great god like him again and make his parents accept that he's gay. The ML here is a different voice actor (not the mission target). HE

Extras - Explanation for MC and his 'Water Recovery System'/why he needs to help the souls, and the identity of ML.

Like I said, it's just...okay for me, not super awesome XD 

There are some issues/plot holes. For example, there seems to be no OOC even if MC suddenly changes personality from the original, like the 'vase' suddenly gaining acting skills (After 1 short break) or the Captain's wife suddenly becoming well-behaved. 

Also, already mentioned but it kinda bothered me when the 'customers' act like they were victims (The 1st to 3rd world) cos I feel like they were also at fault for what happened to them. (In the 1st world, the original couldn't even endure a month of suffering, and he says its true love =_=. In the 2nd world, The Film Emperor's ending in the 1st life was MISERABLE.) I sympathized for the 3rd customer though, I keep thinking who sent him to the little leader's bed (Is it the ML's teammates? It prevents me from really liking them, except for the dead dude T_T)  It gets better in the 4th world  onwards, since the 'customers' are really victims and we get a permanent ML ^_^
