Synopsis:

Bian JinYuan bought a cake and couldn't bear to eat it so that he could bring it home for his family. Lu YunFei bought him a large slice of cake the next day.

Having done good deeds everyday, Lu YunFei felt that the invisible red scarf on his chest had gotten brighter.

So our MC is rich, handsome, smart except in English so he can't help but compare with ML who is also smart and handsome. Suddenly, he found himself becoming ML's family's Tmall Elf (a small doll/robot that has AI, I mean, it can talk/respond to simple topics ) every night after 9 o clock. So our MC finds out about ML's hidden difficulties, ML is poor, an orphan, has...annoying relatives. He juggles multiple part-time jobs then studies till late at night. Basically, compared to him, ML is the one who really has it hard. Now that he's aware of it, MC decides to help, small stuff like going to the store where ML works and buying there etc. He also treats ML better. ML is touched of course and slowly falls for MC, but he's more mature so he considers a lot of things and plans ahead. Not much drama bet. MC & ML, they're both good kids. It's the school/their classmates who add a lot of conflict. But MC & ML himself is really sweet.

Like After Rebirth, I Turn into the Villain President's Cat and Dog, this is also a 9 o clock Cinderella setting. Our MC becomes ML's family doll (I guess its an AI doll/a small robot that talks?) after 9PM. This is nice. Both MC and ML are both good and straightforward children. There are no deep thoughts or anything, even if their standings are different, they just wanted to be friends. ML is poor and has evil relatives but he is relatively indifferent so these things don't affect him. He never thinks that being poor is pitiful, th​​e only time he felt inferior was when MC wanted to go to his house, but he chose to fulfill MC's request/happiness and got over this shame. MC grew up well, he is friendly, smart, has no bad habits, a little domineering, never letting himself be wronged but doesn't use his family's influence to bully people. A good and bright kid, I can see why ML would fall for him~ MC also has a good group of friends who support him. One of his friends is the MC of After Rebirth, I Turn into the Villain President's Cat and Dog, this takes place BEFORE the MC's rebirth there.

I guess what I didn't like is their school environment, there are some malicious students who like to say that ML became friends with MC cos MC's rich or that MC is treating ML as his errand boy because he has money. There is a teacher who framed MC cos he didn't want to hire him as a tutor or a girl who investigated ML's life and blackmailed him cos she wants the label 'school grass' girlfriend even if she doesn't really like him. Bleh. Well, I know these are necessary ups and downs in a novel, but I just want my sweet campus text XD This small things didn't really affect our MC and ML, just adding a more excitement in their school life~

I liked the characters (MC & ML) more than the plot. Read this if you wants warm and steady MC & ML relationship. They walk step by step together and has clear plans for the future~ I want more mature young MC/ML's like this~~
