Impressions: ​Saw someone in NU forums who is looking for translated chapters for this so it got me curious (plus the apocalypse in the title)

So our MC was reborn to BEFORE the apocalypse (the usual~), he revenges on his relatives who he knows betrayed him (the usual~) then he finds a distant relative who knows the way to another world (surprise!) The husband of his relative came from that world. He warns them about the future but the couple decided to stay.

After finding the way, he gets some supplies then crossover. The isekai he went to is in ancient times, and there are gers who can get mpreg. He went to find the ger younger brother of his relatives's husband and settle down in that small village. Anyways, anywhere is okay as long a​​s its peaceful/no zombies.

He meets our shou early. Shou is a famous ugly ger on the village cos of his birthmark which takes up half his face. Shou is a very cheerful teenager though and to be honest, MC has seen uglier things. And the younger brother he was looking for is actually shou's bestfriend. Anyways, MC is attracted to shou's personality. He settles down in the village and start business (charcoal), buy lands, open a store. he also cures shou's face. MC is a dual ability user (wood and space) he uses the wood powers for healing and farming, and the space for the supplies.

Anyways, MC and shou later get together and do business in town. They fight against other business owners and landlords. Laters, shou get pregnant and when he almost dies when giving birth so MC gives him his space nucleus. (Brutal! He digs it out from himself), then he partners up with the royal merchant to get himself some backing. Then revenges on his business rivals once and for all. Life is peaceful from then on. The End. Extras is shou's past past life (weeirrd) and the side CP (MC's relative and his isekai-er husband from ancient times.

I like this. MC is fierce, smart, rich, has wood and space powers. Author-sama loves him very much. Lol. Shou is cheerful and cute and compared to our little pitiful shou in HE with Mistress Ex-BF, I really like him more. I mean, he was an ugly ger, in ancient times, living in a small village but he grew up to be optimistic/strong. (Just saying~) Didn't put the farming tag cos MC wasn't really farming except for the occasional mention that he was ripening seedlings etc. It's really more on business management and fighting with other business rivals~

Nearest reco: Back to the Countryside, the gong MC there is also a fierce man (from jianghu) who decided to settle down on a small village.

EDIT: Adding this here since I don't want to make a separate entry. Reading Return to 1980s to Adopt a Wife 重回八零养媳妇, one of the earlier works of the author of the Into the Chronology. It's about a gong MC who was framed and sent to jail by his cousin and his fiancee. Finally, the person who helped him was the guy (shou) he bullied when he was young cos he confessed to him. Then he was reborn during the confession and this time, he accepted it. It's not as good as Into the Chronology. From reading the comments, there are a lot of details that shouldn't be in the 80s/inaccurate. Also, its insta-love with no basis. Our gong MC has been straight for years then right after being reborn, he became gay and fell for shou?? I think he is confusing gratitude with love. Maybe author-sama could've provided a transition(?) so its not so abrupt that MC suddenly has romantic feelings for shou. Gong MC also hates his ex-fiancee to the bones and she would be mentioned from time to time so it feels like he hate her so much cos he loved her, so again, the sudden gayness doesn't make sense. It has campus, some business management but its mostly faceslapping petty cannonfodders, and I mean, really petty, like someone fighting for the lower bunk in the train with MC or a jealous classmate or a family who is thinking of matching their daughter with MC. MC's faceslapping is also kind of vicious, one that doesn't leave any face for the opponent/basically destroying their life. If the cannonfodder really did evil then I might find it satisfying, but since they're kind of petty, it gives a feeling of MC being too cruel. People who likes faceslapping might find it cool though~ There's a better version of this, Well, There's a Re-report (恩有重报 (重生)), gong MC was also framed and helped by shou on his last days, then he is reborn to the time shou just confessed to him. Might reread it again to write a review~
