Our MC transmigrates in a book as a cannonfodder. The original is really beautiful but he's very dull/introverted causing him to be bullied. In the book, he gets tricked into attending a drinking party, some accidents happened and his face gets ruined.

Our MC comes in when the original is still a trainee. He landed a small role and went to join ML's movie crew. MC is also an actor in the previous world so he shocks everyone with his acting skills, ML also becomes interested in him. Laters, MC and ML collaborated more and more (brothers in movies, uncles and nephews in TV series, ML invests in the movie MC is acting on). MC is more on 'immersive acting' so he needs some comfort when he comes out of his emotions (and ML is always there to give some~) Anyways, laters, they #SPOILER star in a gay movie and after the filming, they decided to get together. More and more career development for MC, faceslapping black fans and sunspots with his works. Really more career-focused.

Some romance near the end, when ML showed insecurity since he was always worried that maybe MC isn't really inlove with him but was just affected by their emotions during the gay movie. MC also realized that ML is paying more in this relationship so he uses actions to reassure ML that he is also committed in this relationship~ Laters, they made their relationship in public and got married.

Like I said, I'm just here for the entertainment circle faceslapping. MC is kind of OP, the problems he encounters are just materials for his counterattack later. MC's career line is smooth all the way. ML as well is just the doting, secretly protective type gong. It's quite fun to read though~

It's just too bad that the original's life wasn't tackled much?? I mean, MC kicked off his bloodsucking relatives, but what about the Uncle who was good to the original? the original's parents (the unknown Dad and the run away Mom) was also never mentioned again. I guess I just can't just help but compare it with My Smell is Damn Charming, where the MC also inherited the problems of the original and properly dealt with his parents/relatives. Just saying~~

Nearest reco: Superstar Aspirations, with OP Actor MC starting over the entertainment circle as a novice, and catches the interest of Film Emperor ML with his acting skills. Lots of similarities, even with the ML pretending to be a fan XD XD XD
