Chapter One

Zo checked his phone for the tenth time to see if Dekia had texted him back before he went on for his interview. They were still going strong but things were getting rough for them with the both of them being busy all the time and given the past infidelities in their relationship they both were starting to think the worst.

Dekia was still away in Atlanta for college because while she still didn't have a set major she enjoyed the college life and she enjoyed the city of Atlanta. She was always out doing something with Zion and Julez.

Since she wasn't set on a career yet and she got really popular on tik tok for her good looks and being known as Zo's girlfriend she decided to use that fame and start youtube channel as a way for her to make money on her own without depending on either one of her dads and Zo .

Between going to classes , completing assignments, filming , editing and uploading content she would be tired and it seemed as if when she wasn't busy Zo was.

He was either busy in the studio , doing shows and now that his name was out he was doing interviews and meeting with labels who wanted to potentially sign him .

So when they did talk , it wasn't for long .

He sighed when he saw that she didn't text him back so he texted her again .

I'm about to go in for my interview so i'll be occupied for a minute , I love you and i'll try to talk to you tonight .

He sent her a text and put his phone in his pocket before walking in and taking a seat . Derrick , who was also his manager , stayed behind the scenes but he could still see and hear everything . He was texting back and forth with both Kentrice and Nadia who was crying about they missed him.

He and Zo were currently in California and had been for a few days so he was missing them too and his kids .

" Before we start can I help with water or anything ? " Chelsea , the interviewer asked.

" I'm good , thank you " Zo said.

" Ok we're about to go live " She said . She waited a few seconds before she started talking . " Good morning , today we have upcoming rapper Zo here . Before we start we're going to give a little insight on Zo . He's orginally from New Orleans and he's only been rapping for about 8 months but his career is moving at a rapid pace " She said . " I'm actually a fan of Zo myself  , i'm not really big on rap music but he's not the typical I sold drugs and kill niggas to survive rapper "

" Yeah , I was silver spoon fed like a motherfucker . I don't know , I feel like some of them rappers be capping because ain't no way all of y'all had the same life I mean it's possible but I just I don't know I don't want rap about what everybody else does " He said . " and it's good to hear you're a fan , what's your favorite song by me ? " He asked quizzing her to see if she was lying .

" I like your song Decisions So Poor . Speaking of , that song has a lot of people thinking you have a side piece from you line " I don't wanna keep it on the hush nomore , I don't want to love you from a distance no more "

" Nah ... Before I decided to start rapping I would just write down raps in my notebook , that song about my girl Kia , when we was still keeping our relationship on the low " He explained.  " If you hear a love song from me it's about Kia "

" Speaking of Kia , it's rumored that she cheated on you a while back with Neno Calvin who is another rapper from your hometown . I don't know if you saw but he posted a female of a sititng in the passenger seat of his car and people think it's kia because of the complexions and hair color and it's rumored that he was dissing you and talking about in his new song when said ' every bitch gonna suck that dick in that expensive car ' " She said causing Zo to chuckle .
