Big zo was on his third movie with the kids waiting on them to fall asleep . He was about to doze off on them when Deedy started calling his phone . He wasted no time answering because she had been gone for hours without calling or texting and she said she wasn't gonna be gone long .

" Hello ? " he answered .

" Lorenzo .. it's me Dakota " she said .

" Hey Kodi where Deedy ? she drunk and you need me to get her ? " he asked knowing how she use to get when she went to the club .

" I wish that was the case " she sniffled .

" Kodi what's wrong ? " He asked sitting up .

" Just come to University Hospital... something happened while we were out "

" What happened? Is Deedy okay ? " he asked .

" I don't know.. I don't know " she cried .

" Okay Kodi ... i'm coming " He said as he hung up on her and called Derrick .

" Pops fuck you calling so late for ? " He asked .

" Derrick I need you to watch the kids your mama is in the hospital "

" For what ? " Derrick asked .

" I don't know .. Dakota called me but she didn't say what happened . She went out with Kodi for her birthday and now kodi said she don't know if she's okay " Big Zo said .

Derrick didn't respond he just tapped Kentrice a few times waking her up . " Baby I have to go to my pops house something happened with my mama . the kids are sleep just lettin you know i'm leaving " he said and she nodded .

" i'm on my way pops " Derrick said as she hung. As he was driving to Big Zo's house he called Kia to let her know what was going on , Kia tried to call Darkayla but she didn't answer .

Kia hopped up of the bed and left Zo with Reni and Zo'hara as she left to go the hospital to see what was going on with her mama .

Her an Big Zo made it there at the same time and saw Dakota crying . Big zo started thinking the worst when he saw all the blood on Kodis clothes .

" What happened ? " Dekia asked as she walked up to her auntie .

" We just pulled up to the club and Calvin approached her . I didn't hear their whole conversation because I knew she didn't want my friends knowing her business I just knew he was mad he said something about leaving him high and dry and aborting his baby a few minutes later we heard gunshots and she was on the ground " Kodi explained .

" So Calvin did this ? " Big Zo asked and Kodi nodded. Big Zo turned to leave but Kia grabbed his arm .

" Pops just wait here to see what's going on with her first then you can go do what you gotta do " She said . She already knew that he planned to go kill Calvin and there was no talking him out of it but she felt like he needed to at least see what was going on with Deedy first .

Big Zo and Kia sat down and waited for hours for somebody to come give them an update. " family of Danielle Lewis ? " The nurse asked.

" right here " kia said .

The nurse walked to them and she took a while to speak. " Danielle was shot seven times , she was shot in his leg twice , her shoulder , her neck , twice in her stomach , and her. She lost a lot of blood but we were able to give her a blood transfusion, she is currently on life support and when she wake up it's a possibility that she may be paralyzed from the neck on down . We also notice a lot of damage to her skull I'm assuming from when she fell to the ground . Her brain activity is very low so that could end up being a problem as well " The nurse .
