The news spread like wildfire, and no one knew what exactly was going all.

Or, well, Mustard knew, but to be honest? He wished he didn't.

When Mustard had read the news article stating that a student from Class 1A, which Midoriya had told him he had been aiming for, was kidnapped and tortured in an electrical chair, Mustard immediately felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest. His immediate thought, and as he later on realized realization, was that it had something to do with Keisha and Midoriya, and he hated the fact that he was right. What he hated more, though, was that it had to include Bakugo as well.

Mustard didn't know the guy too well, but if not for him, Midoriya and he would probably be dead. Should Shigaraki have found them when they were trying to run away, he would've killed them, and all that would be left of them was dust. Mustard would've never gathered the courage to release his gas into such closed space without being sure whether he and Midoriya, and in that case, Bakugo, would make it out, and yet he was never more thankful when he realized that had saved their lives and put Shigaraki and some of the other villains in jail.

Now, seeing him tied up in a chair again, he couldn't help but feel awfully guilty and terrified. There were no pictures, but if the news were true, then Bakugo was a hair away from dying, and the thought of the strong and determined hero in training being nearly killed by the villain he had helped them escape from frightened the former forced villain.

And at the same time, he knew he wanted to see the truth.

Not letting himself think much, he changed his clothes and told him parents he was going to hang out with a friend, and grabbing his coat, rushed out of the apartment, praying to himself that Bakugo was going to be alright.

Midoriya let out a long sigh as the doctor exited the room, having told him that he was going to call in one of the visitors, which Midoriya didn't want, especially after the news he had received.

The doctor had told him he was suffering from chronic stress, caused by his PTSD and the constant reminders around him. Whether it was a man who was wearing a similar coat to Keisha's, someone with blue hair, or objects that remind him of the torture he had faced in the underground, he could end up having a severe panic attack, despite them being a normal part of daily life. He would have to take SSRI, and even go through therapy if he wanted to try and live normally.

And here he was, wanting to be a hero when he couldn't even look at a pipe wrench without freaking out...

Midoriya heard knocking on his door, and turned towards it as it slowly opened, and Midoriya's eyes widened for a second before narrowing in confusion, as he watched the teen walk in and close the door behind him.

"Um...Hi...? I, um, didn't expect you to come here, to be honest..." Midoriya greeted questioningly, frowning slightly. He didn't like the idea of him being here, him being overly loud, and he couldn't help but wonder if he came here not out of concern, but to actually yell at him angrily for getting his best friend in trouble and on the verge of death.

"I...To be honest, I wasn't exactly planning on being here either, but I wanted to talk to you." Kirishima said hesitantly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Midoriya had immediately noticed the change in attitude — he seemed way calmer, more mature somehow. Maybe it was that he was more quiet and nervous, or maybe–

"Your hair...!" Midoriya realized, raising a surprised eyebrow as he looked at Kirishima's hair. "It's down." Kirishima laughed awkwardly and shrugged, slowly walking towards Midoriya and sitting on the chair.
