Britt walked into the kitchen and smiled as she saw Iain, neither of them said a word as he walked over to her and pulled her close and kissed her

"I'm proud of you" Iain said as Britt looked to him with tears in her eyes and smiled

"you are" Britt asked as he looked to her and smiled

"of course I am. It took you a lot to do this, to go to the police and report what happened to you. It was awful and I know it's killed you but you are okay, I promise you that you are going to be okay l I am here to look after you and we will be fine" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he pulled her close and kissed her

Britt knew that it took a lot for her to go to police and admit what had happened to her and she was glad that she had Iain and his support as she didn't know if she could do it without him. Britt looked to him and smiled as she leant in and kissed him.

He pulled her close as Lillie started to cry as Britt pulled away and smiled "I'll get her" Britt said as he looked and her and smiled

"we will be okay, I promise" Iain said as Britt looked to him and smiled. She knew it was a mess

Britt got to work and smiled as she saw Leigh who looked to her and smiled

"hey, how are you feeling" leigh asked as Britt looked to her and smiled

"relieved, I mean I never thought I'd feel happier since it happened and I know it's a long shot they will find who did this to me. But I reported it and it was the right thing to do and Iain has been amazing. He's really been there for me and he's been my rock and I know that I couldn't do it if I didn't have him" Britt said as Leigh looked to her and smiled

"your lucky to have him, he's a great guy and he loves you and I I know he will do anything for you. And you and Iain are going to be fine. You are going to work this out. I know that you are" Leigh said as Britt looked to her best friend and smiled as she hugged her

"what was that for" Leigh asked as Britt smiled

"for being there for me, I don't think I have thanked you for it all, it means a lot to me" Britt said as Leigh smiled

"you don't need to thank me, you have been through a lot and I am here for you. No matter what and one way or another we will find this scum and make him pay" Leigh said

Britt smiled as she got home with Iain "your mum has Lillie, i thought we could have some us time, no funny business I am not going to push you" Iain said as Britt smiled

"maybe I want to" she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him

"are you sure" Iain asked as she nodded as he pulled her close and kissed her.

The kiss got more passionate as they headed to the bedroom. They stripped off as he pushed her onto the bed and climbed on top of her. He pulled her close and kissed her as he pushed into her causing her to moan as he started to move in and out of her.

Britt knew things were hard still but could they make it work?
