Britt lay in bed it was late at night. Iain wasn't home and she couldn't sleep.

She looked as Lillie lay in his side of the bed and smiled as she looked to her little girl.

She knew what she had been through and how it felt as if it had been to much but she knew that she needed to be strong.

She had a baby who needed her and it scared her. Britt sighed as she grabbed her phone off of the side. It was late at night and Iain still wasn't home.

She placed pillows around Lillie so that she wouldn't roll out of bed. Britt walked into the kitchen and sighed as she grabbed a glass of water and frowned as the door opened.

She walked out of the room and walked towards the living room and saw Iain. She saw that he was covered in blood and paled. Britt knew his temper. She knew what he was like and she was worried over what he could of done

"please tell me this isn't what it looks like" Britt said as Iain looked to her and sighed

"you don't need to worry okay, i know you are scared but you don't need to be no one will hurt you again" Iain said as Britt looked to him and paled

"what did you do?" Britt asked feeling sick at the thought he could of hurt someone

Britt walked into the Ed. She wasn't ready to return to work but she knew that she needed to talk to Leigh.

She ran a hand through her hair as she walked down the hallway and into the staffroom as she saw Leigh and Sam who were making it.

She looked to them and rolled her eyes as she cleared her throat as they pulled apart as Leigh looked to Britt and frowned

"what are you doing here?" Leigh asked as Britt looked to her and sighed

"I need to talk to you, my head. It's a mess and I don't know what to do. I'm scared and I think that Iain has done something he came home and he was covered in blood" Britt said as Leigh and Sam exchanged a look

"what? What is it?"

"Well, Iain was angry over what happened he felt like he couldn't protect you and keep you save. He said he was going to kill the scum who did this to you and now I think he could of done it" Leigh said as Britt looked to her and frowned.

She sat down and sighed as she ran her hands through her hair.

She knew Iain and she knew he wasn't a killer but she knew how far he'd go to protect her

Britt sighed to herself as she got home and saw Iain

"my mum has Lillie, and we need to talk" Britt said as Iain looked to her and sighed

"Britt"

"no, I know you and I spoke to Leigh and Sam. Please tell me you didn't kill him" Britt ashes as he looked to her

"do you want the truth?" He asked as she nodded

"I didn't kill him but I wanted to for what he did. I beat him a lot and I left him for dead. He took advantage of you and he can't get away with it and I know you didn't want me to do this and I'm sorry" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"I'm so pissed at you but you weren't seen there was no cameras?"

"No"

"good because we have lost enough he asked of him and if anyone asks you didn't do this" Britt said hit could she really protect Iain from this?
