CHAPTER NINETEEN

Chaeyoung woke up when the sunlight hit her eyes, she blinked a couple of times and confused when she felt something soft pressing against her skin. She looked at her side and smiled as Mina's face was the first thing she sees to start her day.

Mina is still sleeping peacefully as her head is resting on Chaeyoung's chest while her arms were wrapped around the latter's waist. Chaeyoung caressed her cheeks and kissed her forehead before she carefully pulled her arms and replace herself to a pillow.

"Chaeng?" The small girl looked at her and smiled, "Good morning, Did i wake you up?" Chaeyoung asked in her morning voice.

"No, I just felt you're leaving me... again." Mina said as she pulled herself to sit and rubbed her eyes to adjust her eyesight.

Chaeyoung chuckled softly before grabbing a robe and use it to cover Mina's body, "Who says, I'm going to leave you? I'm just getting ready for the day... Nightmare?" Mina nods.

"You left me in a dark place, I tried to find you by hearing your voice from afar and when i get there. I saw you kneeling down with someone piercing a knife in your neck like it's ready to slice you neck. Then the last words I heard from you was, "Don't choose him, I'm fine, alright?" I don't know if that's what you really said but it really hurt me like an arrow strike into my heart." Mina explained and didn't notice that a tear came out from her eyes until Chaeyoung wipe it off.

"Mina." Chaeyoung grabbed her hand and pressed her lips on the back of Mina's hand, "You hurt me so many times but I still chose to stay with you because I love you, Minari." She said sweetly.

"What's the connect in my dream then?" Mina asked as she tilted her head, confused and Chaeyoung's soul almost left her body because she's completely dumbfounded at Mina's respond.

"What a dumbass you are. The meaning behind of those words is, I won't leave you." Chaeyoung said as she cussed under her breath.

Mina giggle, "Chaeyoung-ah... Thank you." She said making the girl confused.

"For?"

"For staying by my side no matter how many times, I pushed you away before. You didn't change and continue to stay and love me." Chaeyoung blushed and quickly looked away as she composed herself.

"You're being too sweet and It's super creepy like you're about to do something weird." The small girl said before she stood up.

"What's wrong with it? I told you to get used to it already because I'm really like this ya know!" Mina whined.

"It's so weird~!!" Chaeyoung whined back to her "I'm fine if the others will cling onto me or say something sweet but if you're the one doing that, It feels like a shiver down my spine." She added as she pouted.

"HUH?!! ISN'T YOU THE ONE WHO WISHED ME TO BE LIKE THIS TO YOU?!"

"I KNOW BUT I DIDN'T WISH YOU TO BE THIS SWEET! IT'S SO CREEPY!!" Chaeyoung fired back.

"Tch. I won't be sweet anymore." She muttered and walked to the cabinet.

Mina gasp when Chaeyoung suddenly hugged her from behind, "What?" Mina asked coldly.

"I'm just kidding, Mina. I actually love it." Chaeyoung said that made Mina blush but she quickly hide it by looking down. "I love you." She added.

"Oh uhm... Thank you." Mina replied in a low tone.

Chaeyoung smiled, "Turn around." Mina did what she said and gulped when Chaeyoung rest her forehead against Mina's forehead "Hmm... It seems that your fever had gone down." She said and pulled away.
