Moving On

You fuss around with the strap on your shoulder causing an irritated red mark on your neck. You sigh and can only remember what you're doing is for the best. The world has changed since you've been gone, and it's easier to continue living like that, or at least thats what you're telling yourself to make this somewhat selfish decision seem easier. Knowing that Natasha would search for you, you think it's best if you leave town, even if it's just for a while.

You make it to the train station and bump into people walking down the busy steps. You stand by the platform awaiting your train as a gorgeous lady meets the corner of your eye towards the end of the platform. The train pulls up, blowing her black hair in all the right directions, and she gives you a smile, the sweetest you've ever seen. You both step onto the train and you can only hope you'll see each other again. Natasha moved on, so you see no problem with moving on too.
