"Do you want to listen to some music?" I ask, going over the sound system. I wonder how I should tell him I'm keeping him here forever.
"Sure that's fine," he says, following me a little like the good puppy he is. Will my dad let me keep him here? Will he notice? Abe will. Abe is horrible.
"Would you kill someone if I asked you to?"
"Depends," he says, which is better than no.
"Depends on what?"
"On who you'd want me to kill? Like is this hypothetical or----oh this is pretty can I have it?" he asks, pointing at my fleece jacket.
"Sure. I don't care. I hate everything," I say, staring out the window.
"I feel like you should talk with someone other than me about that," he says, sympathetically.
"I like you just fine," I say, spinning around, "Do you want to stay here forever? Please say yes."
