Y/n's pov:

The next day arrived too soon for your liking. You changed your clothing and walked down to the kitchen. No one seemed to be at home. Your parents were probably already off to work in their company. You also worked there, but on weekends you didn't have to work. Your relationship at work with your parents was really good. Many times you and your father talked about important stuff and had fun while doing it. He was completely different while at work. Suddenly you remembered the note from yesterday and groaned, so you had to wait for your unwanted guest.

You get yourself a bowl with cereals for breakfast. After an hour you heard the doorbell ring. You got up from the couch, where you were resting with your eyes closed and headed for the door. After a small moment of hesitation and panic, you opened it. It was hard for you to meet new people and talk to them due your social anxiety.

In front of you was Mr. Lee. He was wearing a black suit with a blood red tie. His hair was styled back. He looked not a day older then thirty, but he must have been at least twohundred years old. That is what you heard your parents talking about the other day. His appearance was just elegant, but at the same time he looked like a mafia boss. A true Vampire.

"Is it true I have to invite you in, otherwise you can't enter the house?" You asked a little scared.

"Not everything is true what they say in the TV." He replied happy.

You even chuckeled a little. He also seemed to be a sympathedic. A strange but good aura was around him. Almost the same like with his daughter. You felt that you could trust him.

"Come in Mr. Lee." You offered.

"Thank you. You seem to be a lot friendlier, when you are at your own home." He said.

"That is just a facade." You replied with a cocky smile.

You started to get more confident around him. A chuckle escaped his lips, as he stepped in your giant house. Both of you stayed in the entrance hall awkwardly.

"Listen, I want to make this quick. I know you don't like our kind much, but at least show Yubin some respect. That is all I ask from you. Can you do that?" While he said that he looked you deep in the eyes.

His expression was filled with hope and pleading. It seemed that his daughter was the most precious person to him.

You choosed your next words with care. "I will spend a lot of my time with her in the future, so I think the least I can do is try." You said with a dry throat.

"Thank you" He said and pulled you in to a hug.

It took you by surprise, but it felt strangely good even if it was from a Vampire. You returned the hug with hesitation. After a while he pulled away. His hand reached out for your shoulder and patted it lightly.

"You don't know how much that means to me. My daughter is everything to me." He said.

You looked on the ground and nodded. Suddenly you felt bad about how you behaved yesterday.

"I also had a arranged marriage, so I know how you must feel, but I know Yubin will give her best to not bother you to much. Just give her a chance." He told you. "Maybe you even start to like each other with time, like it was with me and my wife. Yubin is a lovely girl, you will see.

"She seemed to be nice. I will give my best too." You answered still looking on the ground.

You heared him chuckle.

"My father and I had a talk yesterday and after that I realized that this is fate or something." You added with a barly audible voice.

"Now you sound like my daughter." He laughed.

You looked at him and flashed a smile.

"He is not that bad, I guess, but we will see."  You thought.

"I need to go now. We'll see us in a few days." He said as he waved you goodbye.

You also waved until he closed the door behind him.

"Well, that was strange." You said to yourself.

Your view of Vampires had changed a little. Why did these two had so much influence on you? They seemd to be so charming and friendly. A sigh left your mouth as you made your way to your room. Tomorrow the wedding preperations will start and the real stress will begin.
