Chapter 21: Rivalry

I awoke to a sound of Weiss and Ruby running out as Yang and Blake stretched their arms. I got out of bed as I went to the toilet for my routine. As I got out, dressed in my casual gear, I made my way out and checked the time.

0755.

Well we still have some time left. I put on my headphones as I played my mix. I made my way to the courtyard as I saw a white Bullhead land. Oh this lady.

I then saw Ruby trying to keep up with Weiss as she ran forward. Damn she's fast.

"Weiss! What is the big deal?"(Ruby)

"Who is it? Who is she?!"(Ruby)

I saw Weiss smirk at the landing bullhead.

"Winter,"(Weiss)

Gonna need to be a little more specific little princess.

"Wait, your sister?"(Ruby)

She cupped her mouth as she shouted out her sister's name.

Winter slowly turned around as her robots made their way down the ramp. Weiss and Ruby quickly ran up to her.

"Winter! I'm so happy to see you!"(Weiss)

"Oh! I mean, we are honoured to be within your presence,"(Weiss)

She then curtsied.

"Beacon. It's been a long time, the air feels, different."(Winter)

I then approached them as well.

"Who's the twin?"(Kenji)

Winter frowned as Weiss started to get defensive. I love siblings.

"She's not my twin but my older sister! Show some respect! She's one of Atlas's greatest specialists!"(Weiss)

I could see a little pride within them.

"I see..."(Kenji)

"Well I mean it is fall so, it's probably colder,"(Ruby)

Weiss then punched Ruby in the shoulder. Ouch.

"So, what are you doing here?"(Weiss)

"Classified."(Winter)

Weiss then punched me in the shoulder and it was not a light one. I wanna go back to sleep.

"Then how long are you gonna be staying here?"(Weiss)

She stood up straight as Ruby looked at them and followed suit.

"Well this is...nice?"(Ruby)

"You're going to love it here! I know you travel a lot but so much in Beacon is different from Atlas! Vale too, the government and the school are completely separate too, can you believe it?!"(Weiss)

"I am very familiarised with how the kingdom handles its, bureaucracy. That is not why I came,"(Winter)

"Right! I'm sorry,"(Weiss)

"Such a fine soldier. My commander would've have loved you,"(Kenji)
