Chapter 20: Baby Mommas

•Marcus's point of view•

I was following Tayy back to jayys house so we can get the kids.

Then my phone began to ring.

I looked at it and it was an unknown number.

"Hello" I said.

"Marcus..." I automatically knew who it was.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I wanna see my son" she said.

After all of this fucking time she pops up and decides she wants to be mommy again, which is something she was barely doing in the first place.

"You wanna see who??" I asked.

"I wanna see my fucking son nigga, you can't keep me away from him!!" She yelled.

I thought about if for a minute.... she is still his mom.... and I guess I gotta give her a chance.

"Look man, meet us  at Frankie's. I like a hour" I said to her.

"Ok" she said as I hung up.

I don't even know if this gonna even be a good idea, cause Tayy is definitely gonna be there. But I'm sure she'll understand.

I pulled into jayys driveway followed by Marcus.

I got out and heard the kids running towards me.

"That was quick, where are we going??" Marion asked.

"Yea, can we go somewhere with an arcade" Montae asked.

"Nosy's chill out, just wait, cause I don't even know where we're going yet" I said.

I walked towards the house and knocked on the screen a little before walking in.

"We're back" I said to Jayy as I walked in the living room.

"That was quick as fuck? What was it about?" He asked.

"Some crips tryna expand over here" I said as I sat down.

"Really??" I asked with an amused look on his face.

"What??" I asked.

"Tayy.... You got people all the way across this fucking country buzzing bout you" he said.

"I really didn't even think about that. But it really doesn't even phase or excite me...." I said.

"It's not what it used to be is it" he asked.

"I don't even feel the need to do what I do anymore" I said honestly.

"You feeling how I felt" he said.

"I don't know..... I'll figure it out" I said to him.

"Just don't think about it. Enjoy yalls day with the kids" he said.

"Gladly" I said while getting up and heading towards the door.

"So who car we whippin??" Marcus asked.

"Yours since you're whipping. The four door today" I said while opening my car door and grabbing my purse.

"You tryna be funny??" He asked.

"No" I said while laughing,

"I think you are" he said.

"Man hush and come on" he forever be playing.....
