If there hadn't been such a tense feeling surrounding us all, it actually would've been quite funny to see us try and board the plane.

Edward was, as usual, his depressed moody self, only worried about Bella and the potential danger that he had brought her into. Too lost in his own thoughts to see that he was holding up the line to get onto the plane, causing everyone around us to grow more and more irritated at the teen.

Carlisle, always the father figure of the family, was trying to gently coax Edward to take a step onto the plane, or at least closer to the gate. It was pretty easy to see that his calm and patient approach to fixing the 'problem' wasn't working, making everyone in the group cringe as we continued to listen to him gently attempt to persuade him to start walking.

Emmett, in a feeble attempt to cover for Edward's obviously suspicious behavior, was talking too loudly about finding his phone. Letting out a triumphant cheer and handing it over to Edward with a helpful grin, which was not reciprocated by the bronze-haired man. Eventually, Emmett began to nervously fiddle with the zippers on his jacket, which was far too small for him, as he tried to play off the lack of enthusiasm that Edward had.

Theo mainly kept his gaze on his phone, furiously texting back and forth with Jasper. But every once in a while, he would glance up at me and send me a calming smile before quickly turning his attention back towards his phone. Muttering a few curses under his breath, he glanced up at Edward before going back to his phone and annoyingly venting to Jasper about what was happening.

Eventually, we had been waiting for Edward to take a step for a few minutes too long, at least in my opinion. I sighed and stepped forward, ignoring Theo's whine, and grabbed Edward's collar, beginning to drag him towards the gate.

"Look, sorry that your asshole of a boyfriend broke up with you and you're still butthurt over it and all, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to let you ruin my vacation," I hiss out, acting like the perfect irritated sister. "So get your ass onto that plane before I have to continue to drag you there. Cause we both know that I will."

As Carlisle dealt with all of our documents, I continued to drag with towards the plane. Sending the gate attendant a charming smile and nod of the head as I passed her.  Somewhere behind us, one of the security guards who had been watching us let out a muffled laugh before slowly walking away, which made everyone in our group, other than Edward, relax a bit.

Stepping off the plane a few hours later, we all sent a gracious 'thank yous' to the stewards and stewardesses before calmy making our way out towards the parking garage, following the leisurely pace that Carlisle set for us.

Emmett kept a careful eye on Edward, who was so busy trying to find Alice and Jasper that he was beginning to risk running into someone or something.

Eventually, we met up with the pair at the entrance to the parking garage. Jasper and Theo greeted each other with stiff nods, beginning to talk quietly about what the blonde man knew from Alice's ramblings, Emmett eagerly listening in, while Carlisle half-listened and half-watched Edward, who was scanning the filled garage.

I followed Edward, taking over the babysitting duty for a second so that Carlisle and Alice could properly talk. Watching as Edward stopped, his eyes whizzing between two newer-looking sports cars, before looking over at Alice, who seemed to appear next to him out of nowhere. The two silently communicated for a few seconds before Alice nodded towards the gaudier of the two.
