Pushing the doors of the ballet studio open, I immediately wince at the sound of Bella screaming, the sound echoing and reverberating throughout the building. I shake my head, biting my lip before following it. Pushing open the second set of doors, I look down from the balcony, my eyes widening at the sight that was playing out in front of me.

Broken mirrors surrounded the walls, and glass was scattered around the floor, causing the light to bounce off and sparkle in the dimly lit room. Edward gently lifted Bella and tried to leap to the balcony, while also being careful of her injuries. Suddenly a growl came from behind them, with James quickly reaching up and grabbing Edward's ankle mid-jump, pulling him back with a growl. Causing him to crash to the floor and drop Bella, who rolled away, still grunting in agony.

I lept down from the balcony and stood in between James and Isabella, who was leaning up against a mirror, gasping as she held onto her leg.

"Interesting," James muses, tilting his head side to side as he looks me over, "you're another one of the siblings. So interesting... I could barely see you behind your little friend on the field the other day." His face scrunched with disgust as he mentioned Theo, causing my eyes to flash with rage.

I bit my lip as I stayed silent, hoping that Edward would get up from his spot on the window and grab Bella while I was still able to distract him.

I lept towards him, swinging out my leg and hitting him on the side of the head, causing him to let out a yelp and fall to the ground. He stood back up and shook it off, his eyes narrowing as he raced towards me, his shoulder hitting me in the stomach, sending us both flying backward into a mirror just a few feet from Bella. He lets out a smile as he stands up, looking down at me with a wicked glint in his eyes. Lifting his foot, he slams it back onto my chest, watching as I let out a groan.

"Look at you... weak, helpless. Going to die all alone," he chuckles, standing back up and fixing his jacket. "Just like your weak... worthless brother."

Reaching down he brushes a stray piece of hair from my face before his hands suddenly wrap around my neck. I let out an unneeded gasp as I clawed at his hands, thrashing around as I tried to somehow break his iron-tight grip on my neck, the feeling of cracks forming and crawling up my neck making me whimper. A few seconds before it was too late, James was thrown to the side with a growl. After my eyes focused back on the shadow, I let out a sigh of relief when I saw Edward standing above me, huffing and puffing as he stared at the man, who was now buried underneath a pile of broken glass and wood frames.
