Waking up with puffy eyes was the worst. It's something you don't even consider when you're crying your eyes out over something.

"They look fine" Aimee consoled her, as she tried to make Naomi feel better, as the first thing she did after she woke up was check for any messages from Theo and then opening up her camera to check her face because it had been puffy basically everyday.

"Stop lying Aimee" Naomi rolled over, pulling the covers over her face, and burying her face in her pillow

"Come on Naomi" Aimee tried to cheer her up

"I told him everything" Naomi whispered, "I told him everything and he just left"

"And everyone's so fucking proud of you Naomi" Aimee smiled, "You didn't run away - you opened up and told him. You told him what he needed to know" Aimee tried to comfort Naomi, but it was no use

"He left me" she mumbled softly, "he really just up and left"

"Okay!" Aimee attempted to put on her best happy face as she said, "How about we get up today and go out for a nice walk? We can even go to a cute cafe after and get some pancakes" Aimee offered, as she tried to get Naomi out of bed

"No Aimee, not today" Naomi mumbled, definitely not wanting to show her face in society

"Come on, you say this everyday. You love pancakes though" Aimee frowned, knowing that pancakes were one of Naomi's favourite things to eat but she never told anyone - it was just a subtle observation

"Please Aimee, just- can I just be left alone - please?" Naomi quietly pleaded, not needing to be around Aimee's energy right now

"How about I go to that café by the student union that we went to that one time in first year and get some pancakes from there and bring them back so we can eat them in bed, hmm?" Aimee offered with a small smile, hoping that would at least cheer Naomi up a little bit after yesterday with Theo leaving

"Aimee-" Naomi sighed

"Naomi" she mimicked, "please, just- just eat something today?" She pleaded, needing to know that Naomi was at least eating because she was so hot and cold with food recently, she needed to monitor if she was eating

"Fine" she grumbled from underneath the covers, hoping that would make Aimee leave

"Yes!" Aimee smiled triumphantly, "Alright, I'll be right back! Love ya" Aimee shouted over her shoulder as she was already half way out of Naomi's room to get her the pancakes

Hearing her bedroom door click shut, Naomi sighed to herself. Yes, she adored hers and Aimee's friendship - but sometimes she just wanted to be left alone. She didn't mind wallowing in self-pity. She was allowed to. She'd been through a lot.

A lot and Theo hadn't made any contact with her since he walked out. Since he left her.

It had almost been twenty four hours since she told him everything and she'd gotten nothing. Not a single kind of communication form from him

Closing her eyes, Naomi decided to just do the one thing that let time fly by in the easiest way possible - that being sleeping.

Sleep had become her new bestfriend. It was the only way she was getting through the days basically.

But, it wasn't even a moment after she had closed her eyes, sighing contently at the uninterrupted sleep she was about to have, then an abrupt knocking made her groan aloud at who the hell would be at her bedroom door

Deciding to ignore it, because she just wanted peace - Naomi didn't expect any less when she heard the persistent knocking continue. It continued all the way until she heard the door open.
