Now one thing Naomi knew for sure was that she was avoiding Theo. Not maliciously, but for the sake of both of them.

She had to. She had her reasons.

Her reasons being, it was Theo. Theo was great in every sense of the word, he was attentive, caring, considerate, and all of the above - but Theo being all of those things, only brought trouble to Naomi's life.

Well, not her life - but her decision.

Her decision about her future - her career, everything.

Would she stay or go.

In all honesty that was... no, correction - he. He was the one thing. The one person holding her back from it all. From her saying yes straight away and she knew that and Theo would too - Theo would know the moment she would've told him about the opportunity.

So she was waiting. She had no clue what the hell for, but something just told her to wait. To hold back on giving her final answer until the very last moment. She just deep down knew that when the time came, she would know. At that point in time, she would have her decision.

She'd give her answer to Mariam and to tell Theo after.

It was bad and she knew it was bad, but she also knew Theo.

She knew that boy and the moment she told him about the offer - he wouldn't have even thought twice about sending her on that plane to New York.

He would've made her decision for her and that's exactly what she didn't want. She wanted this for herself. She wanted to do this by herself. Make her own decision

She didn't want anyone telling her what to do. Not Theo, not her therapist and not her friends

Speaking of her friends, who, she herself hated for not telling, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She knew that they each would have their own individual opinions on what she should've or should do in this situation - and it just wasn't their business and she could do things her own way, because it was her choice to make.

It was her life

It was her decision

And ultimately no one could change that

Naomi - Morning
Naomi - You awake?
Naomi - Theo??
Naomi - Helloooo
Naomi - just to let you know I'm coming over in a like an hour or so

Weird, maybe he was having a lie in day.

Pushing that to the back of her mind, Naomi made her way through Theo's path which was the back route to the house because even though basically all the boys knew about them - well besides Elliott - old habits die hard

It wasn't until she was about to round the corner to the garden, that she remembered in all the time she'd gone this route, it'd never been summer - therefore none of the boys would be in the garden - only for her to find Andrew outside smoking a cigarette

Seeing her walk into the garden, Andrew smiled at

"Hey" she cheerfully smiled back at him because he was one of the few to not give her shit about getting with Theo when he found out

He simply gave her a hug and told her how he was happy she was happy

"Hey, don't worry Elliott's not here" Andrew told her - noticing her taking the back route - thinking that was the reason

Furrowing her brows as she tried to make sense of what Andrew had just said, Naomi stuttered out a "Thanks?" With a quizzical expression

"You look confused" Andrew pointed out the obvious as he couldn't understand why Naomi would be confused about that if the one place Theo was set on going to last night was to see her
