"Naomi you need to get some sleep" Tiana urged her as she found her sat in the kitchen, staring at her phone, then turning to look at the front door, waiting.

It was a continuous cycle of those two actions.

She was just waiting.

Waiting for anything, something.

"I need to wait for Theo" she whispered

"And you are, he'll be back soon, but you need your sleep, it's been a stressful night" Tiana reassured her as she looked down at her phone, waiting for an update from Elijah, as him and Ollie had gone down to the station to try and sort things out.

She hadn't spoken to anyone after the fight. She had sobered up quickly with the state she was in, but refused to speak. No one knew what happened within the time that her and Theo went off together and then she came back running away from Seb. She didn't tell anyone because Theo had to be the first to know.

She needed to wait for Theo.

The moment they stepped through the door, Naomi walked straight up to Theo's room, stripping off and getting into the shower, scrubbing her skin clean of the night. Scrubbing off Omar's lips. Scrubbing off Seb's touch. Scrubbing everything off. She just needed it off.

As her skin began to burn with the pain, she couldn't help but break. A choked sob came out of her mouth and she slid down the shower wall, bringing her knees to her chest, crying at tonight's events.

She couldn't even look at the anklet clasped around her ankle, that Theo had gifted her. It was just a reminder of how good he was to her and she couldn't even do the same for him.

She couldn't help but be a hypocrite by getting into Omar's car and then having him kiss her.

It's all my fault

Why was I dumb enough to get in the car

Theo's now arrested because of me

It's all my fault

Stupid

Stupid

Stupid

Naomi cried until her tears stopped, until the shower water turned cold, until she just couldn't cry anymore. Until she was just numb.

In a desensitised state, she wiped off her makeup, French braided her hair and got dressed in one of Theo's T-shirt's and made her way downstairs to the kitchen to wait for him.

She wouldn't sleep until she as in the safety of his arms again.

And now she was waiting.

She had been waiting for two hours.

Two antagonising hours of not knowing if Theo was okay. Of all the boys calling her to see if she had seen the fight, which they luckily - on her end - hadn't seen because they were either on the other side of the fair or were on a ride at the time.

"Yes Drew, I'm fine I had a great birthday" she lied down the phone, wiping away a stray tear of the memories of her twentieth birthday, "Alright, bye, see you soon" she whispered, ending the call.
