I finished telling the story of my life and Marcus pulled me in a hug. "I'm so sorry for everything you have gone through..." he said and cuddled my head. "I guess we have kind of the same story..." Nicolas said while playing nervously with his hands. "Most of my life I have spent in orphanages... My alcoholic dad was about to kill me, so the government decided to send me in orphanage. I would always be the kid who the others would make fun of... I changed orphanages many times, but nothing would change. And no one seemed to be interested on adopting me. Me and Marcus were the only ones left there..." he said and smiled a little at the end. Suddenly he stood up and left. Maybe he got touched by this conversation... "Don't worry. He's just not ready to talk about his story." Nicolas said. "Is it that bad?" I asked and he nodded. "I better go and check up on him." I stood up and went upstairs. Slowly I opened the door of his room and found him laying on his bed and staring the ceiling. Carefully I went there and layed on his chest. "I'm sorry." "There's no need to. I just don't feel brave enough to talk about it ." He said and I looked at him. "You are the bravest person I have ever known. You'll get through this." I said and we smiled at each other. "I can't explain how much I love you." He said while looking in my eyes. "I love you too." I said and we leaned for a kiss.
