"When was the last time you saw Bryce" My mama ask

I looked at her "man I been trying to see him for like two weeks. Jada ain't fucking with me"

When we argue and she tell me I can't see him for so long she be meaning that. That's why I hate when people argue with her like I do wrong my damn self do not add to that shit.

"His birthday is coming up" I looked at her. We definitely not invited to whatever she gone plan and she not gone let me do my own shit.

"I know" I say

"You did not know" Kayleigh say

I started laughing. I was already high as hell. I popped a perc and I just been sipping. "I do know. I promise. It's like I be knowing it's coming up and then like the week of I forget"

"Deadbeat" Kayleigh say

I started laughing "how did I even end up over here? Y'all all calling my phone and ain't even no food"

"You live here, where were you at anyway" my mama ask

"Told you to sign my lease and I'll be up out of here" I say

"Better ask that girlfriend" my mama say

"Are you gone take me to my hair appointment" Kayleigh ask "because that's why I texted you"

"Who finna do yo hair" I ask

"Ari duh. She been doing my hair" Kayleigh say

"I'm not even about to drive up there" I say

"But I have an appointment" Kayleigh whine

"Your mother is right there" I say "and she got a car"

"And I'm not taking her" my mama say "so take her before she's late for her appointment. I have a shift tonight and I need to take a nap"

"I got a shift tonight too" I say. Tonight this Trent nigga got a drop and he ain't finna make it out. Swear he's about to lay where he stand

"Girl do no get me started" my mama say "now take this girl"

I smacked my lips "yo bald headed ass ain't never got your hair done this much" I stand to my feet "if I beat you to the car you don't have a ride" I pick my cup up

I walked out the house and took a sip. Kayleigh ran passed me  and I unlocked the door. I got in and started the car "I'm hungry"

"You just left your house with a whole ass kitchen" I say

"You don't tell them hoes that" Kayleigh say

I started laughing "Ight bro, what you want" I pulled off

"Some tacos from that place you always going too" Kayleigh say

"Hell nah. You know how far that shit is" I ask

"That's all I want" Kayleigh say

"It's this food truck right by Ari shop. They got some bomb ass tacos" I say

"If they nasty I'm not gone eat them" Kayleigh say

"Broke people always got the most to say" I say

We finally got to Ari shop "do not forget about me"

"I'm finna go get yo food and Imma take a nap in this bitch" I ain't finna cap that perc and that lean had me filling food and I just wanted to sleep

"I want to get my food when I'm done. I don't want it to be cold" Kayleigh say

"Ight well Imma be out here" I say putting the car in park
