We stepped inside the mansion, and Omg. It is beautiful. Right when you walk inside there are two huge staircases who end up together. An older lady walked up to us with a huge smile of her face. She was probably in her 50 s. She was tiny just like me around 5 foot 1. I stopped growing by the lack of nutrients. She came towards me and hugged me.
I flinched at her touched, but nobody noticed I think, I hope. I gave the nice lady a hug back. She retreated from the hug then cupped my face in her hands.
" oh honey, it's been so long. I'm Marie and I'm the maid here. I'll always be here for you okay" she gave me her contagious smile.
" thank you Marie" I replied
"Come, I'll show you to your room."
We walked upstairs and went down a corridor while she explained that the rooms are from oldest to youngest. Which means that my room is the furthest away. Great. Notice the sarcasm.
" well honey, I'll leave you to yourself now. Someone will come get you when dinner's ready. Okay hun?"
I gave her her shy nod which she accepted. When she was gone, I opened the door.
I stepped inside, closing the door behind me.
"Wow" I breathed out, it's beautiful.
To the right from the bedroom there was a desk while on the left was a bookshelf that covered the wall.
