Roman's POV.
"It has been done" I say while looking down to the ground, hiding my teary eyes and face which is covered in them.
"Good, now you can go. You're free" the underboss from the Switzerland's mafia says while bringing my chin up.
"Don't cry about that stupid girl" he tells me.
"She's not stupid!" I argue with him, screaming.
The man hits me in the face, "she is, don't try anything boy, I still have that target on her. One misstep and I'll kill her with just one phone call" he says harshly.
I back down and do as he says.
"Sorry" I say lowering my head
The man hums in content at my apology.
I turn and leave the building, the tears never once stopping.
Two days earlier..
I'm driving home on my motorcycle after coming back from Alessia's house.
Val's birthday is coming up and our friend group decided that we'll throw a surprise party for her.
We all met up at Alessia's house this morning where we planned everything and now I'm going back home.
I park my bike at the entrance of the building, where my parking spot is before going up with the elevator to my floor.
As I walk in the elevator I am on my phone, planning to call my love.
But I don't because the second the elevator closes, the man who was already standing in here, lunges his fist at me.
My eyes widen as I quickly dodge it.
"What the fuck man" I call out
The man doesn't say anything and lunges at me again.
His jacket comes up a little and I see the tattoo from the Zwitser's mafia.
Fuck they came for me now.
First Jaxon than Val, Xander and Killian and now it's me.
Once more I dodge his punch, duck a little and punch him back, in the gut.
The man doubles over as the breath gets knocked out of his lungs.
I keep punching the man until he finally passes out.
I breathe heavily as I stand back up, unlocking my fist in the process.
Shit that hurt.
The elevator opens up again and I see around 15 more men.
