I walk to his bathroom and start to put stuff that he needs to stay at my place in his toiletry bag. After doing that I walk to his room where he is sitting on his bed with a filled bag next to him.

I walk up to him and place the bag next to him before crouching down before him.

I take his hands in mine making him look up into my eyes.

"Are you okay?" I ask him but already suspect what he's going to say.

He gives me a small nod while fake smiling.

"Roman, I need you to be honest with me" I say gently while stroking his hand.

After a while he starts talking reluctantly "I-euhm...No, it's like this place it-" he shakes his head and stops talking.

"It drains away your happiness" I state.

"Yeah and I don't know it's like this negativity just stays with me.-" He says frustrated.

"- and I just have no clue what to do to stop and prevent it from happening." He continues.

I swallow deeply and look him in the eyes, "move out" It comes out of my mouth before I can even consider it.

"What?"

"This place is hurting you and I don't know why, but maybe there's a chance that moving out stops that." I explain to him.

He looks at me for a moment, "Val-..I- I can't just move. It takes time and it costs money."

"I know that, I know. But I can't let you stay here and be hurt." I say desperate.

"Stay in my house please, at least until you feel better emotionally. I can't let this house destroy you the way it is, Ro." I tell him taking his face in my hands.

He nods his head and agrees.

A relieved sigh escapes my mouth before I pull him in a hug.

Roman's POV.

I stay in my love's arms for a few minutes while I feel tears forming in my eyes but keep pushing them away.

I can't cry, not for this.

I haven't cried in years I'm not doing it now.

I hate this apartment, I really do.

How it sucks all my energy and happiness away from me. And the longer I stay here the worse it gets.

I understand that Val wants me to move out, hell I do too. But I just can't.

I don't have time to move out when I have school and other business to take care of.

And it cost money, like a lot. I won't take that much money from Val's family.

Yes, the answer to your question is yes.

Val's father literally pays for my apartment.

I didn't ask him to, no in fact I refused it and had a job.
