Book 2 chapter 65

I put on an alarm and soon I let my own eyes close and fall into a deep sleep myself.

My alarm awakens me.

I quickly put it out before it had the chance to wake up Roman.

I grab my laptop and start to do some work with Roman still lying on my chest.

I type with one hand as the other plays with his hair.

I lean down and give him a small kiss on the head before I than actually start to work.

Half an hour passes and Roman starts to stir.

I look at him as he hugs me closer.

I glance at the clock really quick to see it it currently around 7am.

I look at Roman as he tilts his head up, watching me.

"Hey baby" I greet him while leaning forward and giving him a small kiss on the lips.

"Hey my love" he greets me back before snuggling his head further between my breast.

"Did you sleep well?" I ask him while saving my work.

"Mhm, I always sleep amazing when I'm with you" he says in that sexy, groggy voice.

The even bigger smile creeps on my face as butterflies erupt in my stomach.

I close my laptop and snuggle more into him too while wrapping my arms around him.

I love Roman so damn much that I'm terrified of ever loosing him.

I breathe in his sent as we lie here, enjoying each other's presence.

I don't know how long passes as Roman and I cuddle but when a knock sounds on the door to enter the room, I realize that we must have been lying here for a while since Ava would come tell us when we'd be nearing arrival.

"Miss. Valentina, we will be arriving in about 5 minutes" Ava calls out.

"Okay, thank you Ava" I call out before she tells me 'you're welcome' and leaves.

Roman and I stay in each other's hold for another minute, than start to get up.

As I step out of bed I get a little dizzy and lose my balance.

It's nothing unusual, after sitting down for some time and than suddenly getting up- I get dizzy.

"Hey- hey" Roman calls out while gripping me by my shoulders, holding me up.

I sway on my feet a little while holding Roman by his shirt so I can hold onto something.

When my vision clears again instead of that blurry mess, I look at him.

"I'm okay" I whisper still a little dizzy as a small headache forms

He looks at me for a second longer before tugging me into his arms, "you should eat something before we go to Jaxon" he says gently.

"Why?"

"Because you almost fainted" he states.

"Ro- I did not, I just got a little dizzy by standing up too quick. Nothing unusual." I tell him while holding my hands together behind his back, hugging him but looking up.

He brings one hand to rest on my cheek while the other still lays on my back.

"Val, please" he begs with worry in his eyes.

"I'll eat something small" I tell him.

He gives me a small comforting smile, than he tugs my head into his chest after removing his hand from my cheek and to the back of my head.

We stand there for another minute in each other's hold before moving to the front of the plane so we can buckle ourselves in our seats as we land.

While landing I hold Roman's hand knowing he's always been a little afraid of landing with a plane.

I caress his hand with my thumb, trying to give as much comfort as I can while being strapped to the chair.

Roman shudders a little in fear when the plane has a little turbulence.

"You're okay, breathe, I'm here for you baby, deep breaths" I tell him.

He does as I say while I start to distract him.

When Roman's panicking I've learned that he need to be reminded to breathe and needs physical contact. Than distracting him while doing all those things together helps a lot.

"I got a mail back from the rentenier today and he agreed to meet tomorrow" I start.

He nods his head, "that's good" he says, his nerves clear in his voice.

"Yeah, it is. Now later when we're back home we can watch some more of that series we've been watching, but we'll have to shower before that since we're going on a mission" I say.

"Shower together?" He asks smirking a little bit, he still grips my hand tightly but he seems to calm down more by this conversation.

"Euhm-I..if you want to" I say a little flustered.

He chuckles a little as the plane now lands on the runway.

We unbuckle our belts before standing up and when I do Roman is standing close to me.

Like really close, I want to kiss him.

He lean down to my ear and nibbles on my earlobe a little before answering, "I'd love to shower with you" he says, placing a small kiss on my neck.

When he pulls away, he wraps his arm around my waist while a deep red blush covers my face.

Everyone starts to get out of the plane while thanking the pilots, me doing the same.

Soon we are all sorted in different cars well except for the few people who will be staying here, to make sure that if something were to happen, they could take care of it more than we might would be able.

As we drive to the location of Jaxon's whereabouts, we go over the plan once more. Also including the escape routes for if sometimes would go wrong.

After around 10 minutes we arrive but make sure that we're not in sight for other eyes.

We all surround the building and at my sign we all sneak behind the guards before pushing on a pressure point and when they're out like a light, we slit their throats.

I grab the key lock badge from the man, the others doing the same.

I take a glance at Roman to see him looking at me.

I nod my head when I get the clear from a team that's positioned a few buildings away, than we all start to run, well everyone except for the medical team.
