Y/n's pov

Dustin, Steve, Robin and I were perched on the roof of the mall, each clad in rain coats as thunder, lightning and lots of rain poured down on us.

"Look for imperial panda and Kauffman shoes." Robin reminded us.

Steve wiped away the rain that was dripping down his forehead and into his eyes, courtesy of him not owning a coat with a hood.

He squinted even farther to try and get a clear image that Dustin already had thanks to his binoculars.

I pushed the hood of my thick azure blue raincoat I owned that matched Max and El's back on my forehead, just as it was falling in my face.

A man in a bright yellow rain coat came into view, pushing a cart full of boxes.

"They're with that whistling guy! Ten o'clock!" Dustin said suddenly from beside me, motioning out from behind his binoculars.

"What do you think's in there?" Steve wondered, rain rushing down the side of his face as he eyes the Lynx logo that was on the back of the raincoat.

"Guns?" I offered. "Bombs?"

"Chemical weapons?" Robin added.

"Whatever it is, they're armed to the teeth." Dustin said cautiously.

I had to admit it, we weren't exactly trying our hardest not to be obvious.

"Great. That's great." Steve said sarcastically, wiping away more water from his face and probably wishing he had brought a coat with a hood.

Our attention was brought to another guard who pressed a small button on a control panel.

Two large metal doors opened to reveal a smaller room, filled with the boxes from earlier.

"Hey!" Robin said, squinting to try and see what was inside. "What's in there?"

"It's just more boxes." Dustin and I said in unison.

"Let me check it out." Steve said, reaching in front of me to Dustin, grabbing for the binoculars.

"No, I'm still looking!" Dustin huffed, trying to keep a grip on his binoculars.

"You guys better shut it or we're going to get busted!" I hissed at the two of them.

"Lemme see!" Steve whined.

"Hang on!" Dustin said.

Steve's grip loosened with the slip of the rain, making the binoculars go crashing down onto the metal part or the roof, creating a loud noise that was sure to be heard by those guards.

The four of us simultaneously dove to the ground in a panic, laying on our backs, just out of sight.

My heart beat of of my chest as I clutched Dustin's hand, earning a small squeeze back from him.

——

Clothes and hair drenched with rain, the four of us walked back through the employees hallway, our shoes squelching as we walked.

"Well, I think we found your Russians." Robin said with a worried expression.
