i was moping around in pain as i sat on the couch next to cliff.

" how'd you sleep" i asked him.

" i slept alright how about you" he asked.

" i slept okay in pain and kehlani all over me again i keep telling her i'm fine but she's not taking that for an answer at all"

" let her be like that her girlfriend got shot" he said.

" yeah in the stomach almost two weeks ago" i said rolling my eyes.

" okay what's up with you cause back then when you used to never act like this when she wanted to be all over you after something like this happened" he said.

" i've been thinking about what JJ said" i said.

" he's not gonna fuck her he's dead" cliff said.

" noo not that part.. the part about lani leaving me" i said.

" no cliff what if she does... i wouldn't know how to handle it cliff that girl is my life" i said looking down.

" and i get that" he said.

" do you? because i don't feel like your fully understanding i need kehlani... she helps with so much that no one knows about" i said explaining.

" like" he asked.

" like my mental health" i said.

" what with anxiety?" he asked.

" with everything cliff i don't want to go into depth right now but with everything"

" well that girl is literally in love with you y/n she'd never leave you and if she does she'll be back you guys always find your way back to each other" he said patting my shoulder.

" and the day we don't" i asked.

" i'll be there helping you every step of the way" he said.

" hey you two" kehlani said walking in the house.

" hey" cliff said.

i looked at the ground still in my head.

" hey" i felt hands on my face.

i wouldn't look at her.

" she's having a tough day lani that's all" cliff said.

she just sighed and nodded kissing my cheek.

" well i brought you some food from your mom, i went over to check on her and get franklin" she said as i heard his little collar going across the house.

she walked away and i sighed staring at the food.

"you can have it" i said getting up.

" you sure" he asked.

" yeah i'm sure" i said to him walking away.

i walked into her room as she had my ski mask in her hand looking at the pictures.

" you still kept these photos in there" she said not even looking at me.

" yeah it- it reminds me that i need to make it back to someone" i said.

" i thought i told you to change this one tho"she said eyeing the mirror picture.

" i was going to but you looked too sexy" i said walking to her.

" cause i'm in my bra y/n" she chuckled putting them back.

she sat the mask down and stood up.

she put her arms around my neck and looked up to me.
