i was in my feels most of the day. i went off and seen my mom and came back and went straight into the studio. i was writing a few songs when my phone started ringing.

it was karrueche. i sighed and picked it up.

" you finally wanna pick up" she said with a small attitude.

" rueche not now please.. i'm not in the mood to argue" i said.

" i was just joking... is everything good" she asked.

" yes.. no.. i don't know" i groaned out.

" i'm coming to see you" she said.

" i don't thi-"

the line went dead and i looked to see she had hung up.

i slapped my forehead.

" great now i'm going to have to explain why kehlani is here" i mumbled messing with some lyrics i wrote down.

" and i can't believe the lies that i went for, thought you were mine but decided to be with him though, you took my feelings and just threw them out the window, feel like it's to hard to fall in love again no, on some nights like this shawty i can't help but think of us..." i mumbled writing it down.

there was a knock on the door and i flipped the page of my book. the door opened and kehlani peaked in.

" can i come in" she asked.

i shrugged and turned back to my book.

i heard the door close and saw she took her seat next to me.

" whatchu in here working on" she asked.

" music" i said.

" y/n" she sighed out.

" kehlani" i said back.

we sat in silence as i started working on stuff.

i played the instrumental back and listened to it.

" i like this beat" she said.

" well you can have it because i was finna trash it" i said.

" really"

" i'll send it to jahaan" i said.

" did i do something" she asked randomly.

" no.. yes.. no" i said.

" y/n you were fine last night and now you're acting weird... did i say something in my sleep" she asked.

" no it's j-"

"y/n kendrick said you were in here i- oh" karrueche said.

" karrueche" kehlani said then looked at me.

" kehlani" karrueche said taking a step back.

" i'll leave you guys to speak" kehlani said trying to get up.

i helped her up and she walked passed karrueche.

" well that wasn't weird at all" she said shutting the door.

" she had a fight with her nigga and didn't want to be in the house so she's here" i said as karrueche sat in the chair kehlani was once in.

" i see... why are you always playing hero y/n" she asked.
