The unknown sister

Chapter 43

A few days later. Maya went in to the room which had the both teens laying there. The teens looked at her weirdly because of the way she walked in to the room and she was now just standing there. Emma looked at Danielle wanting to know if she had any clue to what was happening.

"Are we in trouble?"
Danielle asked. Maya shook her head. Emma and Danielle sat up feeling like this was something serious. Maya locked the door.

"Mom what is it?"
Emma asked confused. Maya walked towards the bed.

"Guess what I have?"
Maya asked holding her hands behind her back.

"What? What do you have mom?"
Emma asked curiously.

"Guess."
Maya said excitedly. Just wanting to blurt it out but she couldn't.

"Ummm.... Is it another puppy?"
Danielle took a guess.

"No, come on! What have we been talking about for weeks now?"
Maya asked not believing that they didn't remember. Danielle got an idea of what it was. Maya saw the look on Danielle's face knowing that she knew.

"You got it?"
Danielle asked.

"Got what?"
Emma asked like a fool.

"Yes. I did."
Maya said. She brought her hands around her body so now they could both see what it was. She flipped the top of the box open.

"Oh my god."
Danielle and Emma were left speechless. After Danielle examined the ring she looked up at maya with a proud expression.

"I'm not an expert but I know that this ring is on the expensive side."
Danielle said.

"I know I know but once carina is happy I'm happy."
Maya said knowing the ring was ridiculously expensive. Emma was still in shock looking at the glare coming from the diamond.

"So you've planned out how and when?"
Danielle asked.

"Umm I don't know as yet. It's either I propose at the bar we met at or the station or we could all go on a vacation and I'll propose on the beach."
Maya said giving them options to see what they liked most even though it wasn't really up to them.

"Ouu I like the beach idea."
Emma said.

"I dont."
Danielle mumbled.

"Why? What's wrong with it?"
Maya asked wanting to know if she could make it better.

"Well the fact that I'm not gonna be there."
Danielle said.

"Are you kidding? Of course you're gonna be there."
Maya said.
"You've been my wingwoman through this."
She added putting a smile on Danielle's face.

"Where are we going?"
Emma asked.

"I don't know yet sweetheart. But I know for sure that we're gonna be there by Friday."
Maya said having some stuff planned out.

(I'm not putting where they are going because I have no idea myself.)

"Okay yes!"
Emma said excitedly because she had never gone on vacation before.

"You guys mind if I hide this in here?"
Maya asked.

"Sure."
Emma said.

"Where is your most secret hiding spot in here."
Maya asked looking around the room.

"Just give it to me, I'll hide it."
Emma said.

"I think I would wanna know where you're hiding it."
Maya said.

"You asked for my most secret place. Now if I tell you where then it won't be so secret anymore."
Emma said.

"Come on em, just tell me because if you lose this, I'll go insane."
Maya begged. Emma took a second to think about it.
